Once in a lifetime

Spintir. The imperial world on the doorstep of sith space, and the setting of one of the bloodier battles between the empire and the sith. Although it had only seemed like a coincidence that Prazutis came to the planet, it seemed his being there was perfect timing.
"If we let this happen, do you know how many lives will be ended?
The lieutenant that kept watch of part of the naval fleet around spintir spoke to the admiral of the fleet and another official from the surface of the planet.
"Well, why not call an evacuation?" the city official spoke casually despite the situation at hand.
"Not only would it bring panic, but there wpuldn't be enough time to get everyone out. If the ship splits apart, the whole city could be in danger. We need to do something."
The admiral took a moment to ponder.
"I do remember there was an inquisitor that came to the planet not long ago. If he's able, perhaps he could do something."
The liutenant looked at the image of the admiral, still anxious.
"Sir, with all due respect, do you think a simple inquisitors, a newly ranked one as well, from what I've heard, can solve a problem this big? "
The admiral looked at him coldly. "lieutenant. Do you have a better solution? Our tow cables would rip the ship apart, we can't fire on it because it would cause the debris to fall, what else do you expect us to do?"
The lieutenant took a moment before he sighed, silent.
"It's settled, then. Official, please see to it our Force sensitive guest is contacted. We will track this freighter."
The official nodded, the holograms fading.

Prazutis looked over the cityscape for a moment, thinking. How had it been, to be down here while such chaos was going on above? He thought about it as he looked out, before a signal on his comm flashed to notify him. He looked at his wrist comm, activating it.
" Mr. Inquisitor, there's a situation. No time to explain, but we have a ship falling into our atmosphere..."
Prazutis' eyes widened as he heard the words, looking up. Barely visible as it was, Prazutis could see the glimpse of an imperial freighter, in ruins. Could that ship be from the battle of Spintir? In any case, he thought, the ship was headed straight for him, and the city around him... Something needed to be done and fast.

"We need to be careful not to destroy the ship, but it's falling towards the capital city, as I assume you can see. It is too fragile for us to shoot of tow, so you are our only option now."
Prazutis looked over it, thinking. What could he do? It was such a large ship, he couldn't do anything about it... but he had to try, he thought.

Prazutis took a step back, looking at the ship, so far away. He closed his eyes and put his arms out, feeling his control over the force around him move with the limbs. He knew that in order to do this, he would have to have more power than what he had now... but as he reached out to the force around him, he thought. Perhaps he could obtain the power as he went?
immediately, Prazutis got to work, reaching out farther than he ever had before. He could feel the flow of the force around the ship as it slowly made its entry into the atmosphere, not in a full fall yet but beginning the descent after leaving orbit of the planet. Prazutis reached out again, harder this time, his body straining to gain control of the force so far away from him. But after he reached out with his mind and body, finally he could just barely reach the flow that moved just in front of the descending ship. He began to move the flow, bending it to his will, warping it around the path of the Freighter, trying to make a sort of barrier with the force to block the hunk of metal's path and at least slow it down. He could feel as the ship began to make the fall, the force pushing it back a bit here and there, but the ship still began to catch speed as it caught the air of the upper atmosphere and began the real fall towards the planet's surface. Prazutis kept bending and morphing, the force pushing into the ship over and over again, however it was a fool's errand. All that would do is buy Prazutis more time. He thought for a minute before looking at the ship, so far away from the surface but approaching fast. Rather than focus on the nose of the ship, he thought, he would focus on all of it, evenly distributing it. He began to move the flow less in front of the ship and more around it, pulling it back rather than pushing it. Pushing the force's energy in front of the wings, around the interior, and again in front of the nose, he gripped onto the force and pushed back, the force pulling the ship, but still it fell farther and farther, down into the lower layers of the atmosphere. Prazutis again pulled, more and more, feeling the freighter get pulled back little by little. The ruined ship did not stop, but the flames that usually surrounded the lower parts of a ship entering the atmosphere had suffocated and gone out, showing how much he had pushed the ship back, not even using telekinesis as most would to stop the ship, if it was in their power. However, what Prazutis had now was still no solution. The ship was still falling, though not as fast. Prazutis needed a solution to this problem, not a delay.

Prazutis let the force hold it back as much as it could while he thought. He looked out past the city, seeing a large area of plains land. Nothing was there, no homes, no military assets. Perfect place, he thought.
"Sir, the ship has reached 40,000 feet above surface level."
The official anxiously watched on as the ship descended, although it was slowed. The admiral only watched, silently as usual. He prayed for this to work, as everyone else... but he also observed the work of the inquisitor. He would definitely be filing a report on this... pulling a falling ship away from a city. This was a massive undertaking by any force user... he would have to give this briefing to his superiors. Just how strong were these inquisitors becoming?

Prazutis reached out once more, the force still gripping onto the ship as best it could, but the ship still descended fairly quickly. He reached out, his arms still up to give him more control over what was happening high above. He let the force's flow continue while he focused instead on moving the ship. He concentrated on the wings at first, steadily keeping a hold on both of them them as he slowly pulled the right wing up, gradually pulling the left wing down at a matching speed to the right in order to keep from tearing either wing from the main hull of the craft. The force bent around the ship as he pulled, and slowly, the entire ship began rotating counter-clockwise with Prazutis' will and the force. Soon, the ship was at a 90 degree angle, the wings up and down from what it usually is. However, the craft began picking up speed again. Prazutis thought... the ship was still falling too fast. Even if he were to execute this plan he had in his mind, he wouldn't have enough time before the ship hit the surface. He carefully looked over the calm energy of the force, before he began to do what he should have done in the first place. He started harnessing his hatred... his wrath for the enemies. The sith invaded Spintir, they destroyed this ship, that's why it's here today. His anger, his wrath, his rage... all balled up within him and then expelled through the flow of the force and out around him.
He directed it, the power that let out of him pushed towards the ship at amazing speed, pushing the ship until it was almost at a standstill. All the ire within him directed at the ship, but it was focused enough not to let the ship break apart.
Prazutis had not even realized how much he'd been learning through this. The ability to direct power in the force's flow, the ability to reach out from a planet's surface almost out to space... he could never have done these things within his own training. These were the kinds of things that he couldn't do on his own. The dark side was using him as a vessel but still obeying his own will.
Prazutis had to do more, however. His knowledge was expanding, but he couldn't focus on that. He had a job to do.
Prazutis again latched his grip onto the vessel, however this time he focused on the front of the ship. He grabbed the nose of the vessel and pulled his arms to his right, dragging the hunk of metal to the side, and slowly, inch by inch, the ship turned directions. His wrath, his rage fueled him and empowered him, and he used those emotions to pull harder, the ship's path slowly changing. Slowly, the force's grip on the ship to hold it back began to slip, and the ruined craft began to pick up speed once more.
Prazutis let go of his grip on the flow of the force around the ruins of the vessel, now focusing all of his strength in turning the ship away from the city. He pushed, more and more, the metal ground beneath him beginning to give way slightly as he used everything in him, feeling power surging through him as he strained to move the ship. More and more power, moving through him to the air and to the ship to move it until finally, Prazutis thought, he had done it... the ship was headed for the plains instead of the city. The ship began to splinter an crack with the speed that it came down, and so to ensure that the ship didn't hit the city outskirts, Prazutis expelled more energy into grabbing the ship, and making the gobbet of burned metal cave in on itself. Prazutis made the ship crack, morph, and warp into an indescribable hodgepodge of metal... but the practical ball of metal stayed in one piece as it hurdled from the sky. Such an act, Prazutis knew not how to do... but the rush of the moment, it seemed, the Dark side guided his actions and almost acted on its own.

as the ship hammered the surface of the planet, the flat, empty land was shredded by the sheer force of the metal hitting the planet. However,
not a single person was hit by the ship.

"We have splashdown... ship making contact outside city borders. Casualties..."
The city official waited as a group of scouts searched the wreckage for any people within, but found nothing.
"None."
He sighed and rested his head on the table, relieved. The liutenant held his head, not sure how this crisis had been averted. The admiral, however, did not react. He turned his head to the larger building that Prazutis stood on, narrowing his eyes.
"Liutenant... give me everything you can find on this 'Newly ranked' inquisitor. And I mean everything."
The liutenant nodded and walked away, towards the holo-records stored in the shared databases of spintir and the many planets that held such databases.

Prazutis looked up at the sky, small pieces of metal slowly falling to the ground like petals of flowers on Naboo.
Wait... How did Prazutis know anything about Naboo? That was the capital of the GA...

What had happened to him in these areas where he lost his memories?

Prazutis wanted to know, but as the world around him began to spin and darken, it seemed that his acts had finally taken their toll...

Prazutis fell to the floor with a distinct thud, the metal under him now with 2 footprints melded into it where Prazutis had stood.
