When the first salvo’s of laser fire raked the Mudhorn’s shields, Sa’ato thought little of it. It was only when the discharge of a much larger barbette cannon hammered the Pursuer’s class’s starboard side that the Neti realized something was gravely wrong. More than a realization- a revelation. Something, or rather, someone, was probing about through the Force. It was faint, almost indetectable, but whoever was strong enough in mind to 'see' that far into the void, the professor figured, was surely not to be taken lightly. Another lucky blast then struck closer to home.
The retired teacher growled in shock and dismay as one of the main power couplings for the hull-mounted ion cannon erupted in a tempest of sparks and smoke. He could not afford to tarry any longer. Sprinting into the narrow confines of the service shaft, the Neti gathered all of his strength into one leg, and kicked off. Hurtling up parallel to the ladder he had used earlier, Sa’ato’s durable form slammed and ricocheted off of the circular ceiling. Crumpling momentarily on the durasteel floor leading to the cockpit, the professor took but a moment to twist his limbs back into the proper orientation, before rising to his feet in one swift motion and carrying on.
Striding into the cockpit with intense purpose, Sa’ato did not so much as regard a surely-panicking Kita as he flopped into the pilot’s chair. Indeed, the Neti only hissed as another vector’s worth of enemy fire plugged at the ventral hull. With a snap judgment, the professor cut power to the missile tube and his precious warhead, rerouting it instead to the Mudhorn’s defense systems. From there, it was a simple matter of throwing every last available electron at the front deflector shield. “Silvanius-”, the professor instructed at last, pausing as he executed a nauseating portside roll, “Attend the dorsal turret, you’re of no more use here”.
Cursing in some archaic tongue, the professor pitched the ship into a temporary dive, narrowly avoiding a cluster of explosive ordinance. Glaring ahead, Sa’ato’s eyes widened with muted trepidation as the sharp black frames of a TIE combat wing came careening closer and closer to his aged vessel. The lead ship, clearly some newer model, unloaded a full payload of torpedoes, which came speeding directly toward the beleaguered Neti. Steeling himself for the impact, the professor could hardly believe his senses when a hail of lasers met the warheads from the fore, detonating them just beyond their optimal target zone.
“Forgive us for not arriving sooner Commander”, a gruff voice announced over the Mudhorn’s comm, “We await your orders”. The speaker, Sa’ato guessed, was a Besalisk, or some like species. Though the Neti’s status as an acolyte meant little amongst his other peers in the Force, to the legions of lay Sith, his powers demanded certain status. The professor fell silent for a moment. Briefly, he gathered his thoughts, and then spoke out with a firm voice, “All craft form screens- we must peel their interceptor craft so our boarding craft can close the gap!”. Yes, even if the Imperial advance forces could not be destroyed, they could be stalled.
Long enough, Sa’ato hoped, to zero in on the source of the disturbance he had felt prior…

Re: Those That Trespass (Kita, Neive, Ask)
The shots fired at the retired neti's ship shocked Kita. As the second blast hit their vessel, the silver clad apprentices head lashed forward with impact on the dashboard. Not hard enough to seriously injure her, but the impact left a small bump on her forhead. "Ow!!" Rubbing it, she looked back as she heard Sa'ato made his way back into the cockpit. "Bout time." She said replied grumpily. She didn't bother hiding her emotions of panic from the neti as she got up from his seat.
“Silvanius, Attend the dorsal turret, you’re of no more use here.”
"Hmph. Let's be honest, I was not much use when you first put me in control of the ship." She countered sarcastically. Without another word the silver clad apprentice began making her way for the dorsal turret. As Sa'ato began his dive seconds after, Kita grabbed onto whatever she could to prevent from being tossed about the cockpit. A little warning would have been nice. she thought annoyingly.
The young blonde Sith apprentice made it safely to the ladder and began making her way down to the next level of the vessel. Once at the turret, Silvanius sat and strapped herself in the seat preparing herself mentally to take aim at the enemy's oncoming attacks if need be. Grabbing hold of the handles of the large weaponry, Silvanius smirked. She already had a idea of what to do should the enemy begin closing in with missles at the ship. Comming her sith companion, Silvanius awaited instruction. "Ready when you are Sa'ato."

Re: Those That Trespass (Kita, Neive, Ask)
As Admiral Hudgens began directing traffic, both for the fleet and for the Wraith itself, Prazutis kept watch over the Mudhorn, watching the maneuver and subsequent rescue from some of the other fighters that narrowly joined the fray.
I should have Expected as much, Prazutis thought to himself, crossing his arms and keeping watch over the ship, allowing the Admiral complete control over the fleet for the moment.
“Have an Avenger Squadron on their tail, let the rest of them protect the bombers. We should focus their efforts on the Loronar cruisers.” Prazutis said. With a nod, Hudgens gave the order.
“Form bombing runs against those two Loronars, all three bomber wings head for them. Avengers, cover them but leave one Squadron to pursue that runner!” Hudgens ordered, referring to the Mudhorn near the end.
“Get the Scimitars targeting the Nebulon and all destroyers focus on those battlecruisers!” Hudgens said, passion practically dripping from the very sound waves of his voice. Or was that just spit…?
Prazutis nodded in agreement, watching the Ship he had ordered destroyed and the ones protecting it. It would now be much harder to take it down with an escort.
“You seem to have the battle from here.” Prazutis said, walking towards the elevator, off the bridge.
“What? Why, where are you going?” Hudgens asked.
“I’m heading to the Hangar. I have a feeling we’ll soon have some uninvited guests.” Prazutis replied as the lift door shut.
Pausing, Hudgens looked back to the Mudhorn, raising an eyebrow as he saw it approaching the command ship.
“Wraith, focus all lasers on that ship!” Hudgens yelled, realizing that if the ship was worth firing the barrage they shot at it, letting it board would spell death for many aboard the vessel.
