Imperial Loyalists and Paramilitary Activity on Eshan and Thyrsus

Gentlemen, as Ben is set to let loose covert Alliance personnel upon worlds which, by geographic rights, lie in Imperial Space, I beg to question why there may not be anti-rebel, political-dissenting Echani that may wish to counteract any efforts to defend the system. To put it another way, an older, or younger generation that recognizes the threat our fleets pose, but do not wish to engage in do-or-die conflict that would, at the very least, participate in demonstrations cutting against the grain of this political union. If both parties deem it agreeable, I would not be opposed to adding a concurrent layer to your preparatory thread using such loyal individuals. Thoughts?

While no populace is ever going to be 100 percent in favor of every order their government/rulers give out there are a few factors that lean harshly against this notion. 1st, the Echani are busy with the current migration between systems in their own Sovereignty. Exibil is being properly inhabited and 49 percent of both Thyrsus and Eshan's populations are essentially switching systems to diversify their populations and bring a true sense of unity to the Echani. 2nd, dissent is dealt with by banishment. Those that don't tow the line are not a part of the Sovereignty to begin with. 3rd, there is no 'younger generation' Echani live for centuries. 4th, Silas and Idaan as a ruling pair are likely insanely popular due to their efforts to simply maintain the property the Echani have enjoyed. These are just my immediate thoughts on the matter.

Eshan 2 has been renamed Exibil. As Eshan 2 and Eshan 3 are lame names lol.

Oh and Eshan 3 serves as a shipyard and factory for the fleet...the very minuscule fleet

Reading this again I should mention that no one among the Sovereignty currently know where Silas is outside of a diplomatic mission. There would have to be spies from the Sovereignty already planted in the Alliance working against them to alert the empire. Even Idaan wouldn't know where Silas was exactly at the current time.

There should absolutely be dissention in some form within the Echani people. Simply by the fact that they had so long been under the banner of the Empire, there would be Imperial loyalists without a doubt. In all our future RPs concerning Eshan and even the other worlds, we will be sure to mention the dissention. If anyone would like to take a more active role in the dissention they are free to do so.

Say if Eshan ever goes to the GA at some point. This could be an excellent basis to back how the Empire is confident about retaking and holding the world in the future.

Please note that whatever dissention there is, make sure everyone understands that the bearing of the RP is only for development and the loyalty of Eshan should and will remain with the Empire until the time it is taken by another Faction and only then. The Echani Defense Force is absolutely NPC and shouldn’t be controlled by anyone at all, nor should the bulk of any dissenting mob though their mention in the background is perfectly fine. Keep it to an individual setting as no one PC has owned or will ever own their own personal chunk of Faction territory without that Faction's blessing.

That said Doren. The Echani New aired the rebellious intentions. Shouldn't there be an Imperial envoy on a shuttle to verify?
