Interest Check: Derelict (UPDATED 1/31)

Okay.
Things happened the last time i tried getting this up and running. So here we go again.
Not looking for a bazillion members this time, but any are welcome.

A huge ship has been left adrift in space. It appears to be several thousand years old. How long it's been drifting is unknown, but the systems nearby have only recently received a distress ping from the craft.

Immediately, the Jedi were involved, as the Galactic Alliance intelligence were first notified. Which means that the Blue Stars got their hands on the call, as well. Imperial Naval Intelligence scraped the message as well- of whom the Sith gleaned info from with their agents.

The distress signal is choppy at best.. but the message is clear- the ship was originally of Jedi origin. Whatever the ship and crew's fate was, is left a mystery.

It's nearing time to send crews to investigate- Surely an exciting discovery for whoever gets to claim it.

Thank you ALL for showing interest, and I’m glad we’re already getting started.

This is the OOC for the Thread: Derelict
This takes place in a nondescript area of space, and deals with a derelict ancient Jedi ship. All major factions will be looking to make discoveries here for their own reasons. Artifacts, Technology, valuable salvage, information, bargaining chips, or any other amalgamation of reasons to want to be the first to discover a huge lost ancient ship.

This thread has a 72-hour posting requirement. Once it’s your turn- you have 72 hours to reply before your character gets piloted by me (fairly). If I don’t hear from you when it’s your turn again- I may set your character ‘aside’ in RP. Possibly to return another day/rotation.

In-Character Update-
Current phase: Landing and disembarking, and taking a look around your environment. I encourage working together IC or collaborating OOC before taking any solid actions, as well. If it makes better sense, i may switch the posting order to allow the factions to post together in blocks, rather than spread out the way they are now... Save for Ani, since he's a one-man-show right now. Ha!

The Sith have landed in a damaged shuttle bay.
The Imperials have landed at an airlock.
The GA/Jedi have landed in a cargo loading dock
The Blue Star Pirates have landed in a blown out hole leading to a large engineering bay.

From there, your characters will need to post with more ‘intent’ rather than assuming certain things. I’ll give a lot of liberties where I can, but realize that this ship and the environment is basically ‘my world’. Please see my post IC for details, as well.

After the full rotation, I’ll summarize everyone’s positions, as well as give a lay of the land- things your character can interact with, see, feel, all that good stuff. I’ll also be moving the story around as an impartial GM.

Correct, buggie. Thanks because i totally forgot about that.

I'm going with 'no' force powers. Though everything else will be as vaguely described above. My introduction post will describe the ship, etc. Though once everyone arrives in whatever manner they want- i'll go into the subject of the force, and how it has been limited.

Also, just to make sure things are a little more balanced, I'd like there not to be an overwhelming presence from a single faction. I'd like to gauge interest first of course, but my original idea was like 3 per faction. Though to promote activity, i'd be grateful for more- but obviously should try to keep it on level ground. if there happens to only be one player for a faction or two- i'll heavily weigh things in their handicap to balance things out to the best of my ability. Trying to be a little inclusive here without going overboard, i guess.
