They'd finally broke out of hyperspace at the rendezvous point. The twin freighters of Kalidor Freight were on their way to shipping medical supplies from the interior of the Alliance to the Joint Task Force Base on Kashyyyk. With the ongoing battle over the border world of Vena it was decided that the additional supplies would be greatly needed not only to the Alliance Military personnel but to the people of Vena itself. In every moment of liberation it never went without a price for the people and the Alliance was invested in ensuring a smooth transition.

Kalidor 01 and 02 were now cruising through the silence of space awaiting for their escorts. As they got closer to the front it made their convoy all the more vulnerable.

Meeting up with the escorts and additional freighters the entire convoy formed up which itself took a few minutes to sort out the flight order of the larger vessels. Plotting the next jump coordinates was a simple enough thing and the transmission to the rest of the convoy went without disruption. Within thirty minutes the entire convoy was making way towards the projected hyper buoy where they would make their jump along the last leg of the journey.

All was quiet as the freight convoy maneuvered ahead and finally reached their jump point and one after another the convoy made the jump into hyperspace...

The trip through hyperspace was uninterrupted and was long enough that Ben was able to find a moment to meditate on the upcoming events. Finally however the blue tunnel of hyperspace was broken and when the stars reverted to their natural states the world of Kashyyyk loomed massively before them along with elements of the Alliance Navy. The sleek warships of the Independence Fleet cruised gently across the stars and almost instantly the convoy was hailed. Being that there were so many vessels in the convoy and none of them were actually under a convoy leader each ship was contacted individually via their onboard computers.

Ben received his link up and acknowledged the flight path that the Kalidor Freight ships were given. He plugged in his course corrections and both Kalidor ships broke away from the convoy and began to move towards the orbital stations hanging above the world.

Boarding once with the orbital station was rather complicated and took an extended amount of time but in the end the first Kalidor Freight BFF-1 had sealed her airlocks and within three hours the entire freighter had downloaded its contents and was set to break away. Kalidor 02 was next in line and her transmission was similarly though the boarding operations went more smoothly this time around after receiving a heads up on the boarding technique necessary to make contact with the older model stations.

Another three hours passed and the next of the Kalidor Freighters were issued completely. Breaking away the second of the freighters moved to sit side by side with the first and together the started moving away from Kashyyyk. The job finished, it was time to head back to their berth and get these freighters serviced.
