Warvanus was not caught off-guard, he had the sense it was about to change, and it did, It almost looked like a unified front. The Sith had many enemies, He kept his Starchaser close to the freighter. Alarms and klaxons alerting him of more hostiles. The War-bringer smiled he loved a good fight but he knew others in the convoy might disagree with him. He fired a couple shots wide mainly to clear the way for the YT-1300 freighter.

From the appearances they were focusing on the Action V transports. Warvanus poured all his hate into the Force, it burned like a star wanting to go nova. They would get retirubtion for this outrage. How dare these outsiders interfere in Sith affairs.
He flipped the comm. To the freighter “Droid, begin preperations for Plan B” he would remain close to his freighter , as he kept his course he started configuring the navicomputer.

Satisfied with his progress against the skipray Silas sought other targets yet even as he focused in on the razor-class starfighter it was beginning to feel like a rout. “Nil, start in on the remaining freighter class ships. Your payload will pay greater dividends than mine and their pace will not easily elude you.” Silas banked hard and made great progress closing in on the target as he worked toward his third attack run of the unfolding skirmish. “Acknowledged, moving out,” Nil replied as the ATR-6 erupted from its holding pattern. Momentum was palpable to the Echani and it had swung completely in the pirates favor.

Xerxes completed his loop and came streaking down from on a vertical plane towards the tail of the foremost Action V. He grit his teeth trying to remain as calm as he could. He was a member of the CCE after all but, his combat experience was still limited and he had never thought of himself as a fighter. This niggling doubt was his downfall. As he squeezed the trigger for the torpedo launch he was accosted by a wave of hatred that battered through his defences making use of that tiny chink in his armour. The torpedo was launched as he instinctively pulled away from the ethereal slap from his Force senses. Cursing he pulled the Bronze Goddess away from the burst of negative energy while he held fast to his own qu’tek mask to ensure that he wasn’t inadvertently noticed by the Sith as something more than he was. He pulled away at speed to give himself distance and reassess. Now was not the time to be second guessing any actions and he had to centre himself once more so such an action could shake him again.

‘Master’s action are inexplicable, I cannot compute why he has acted as he has.’ ‘Yeah the Captain isn’t one to shy away from a fight, nor is he one to be intimidated.’ ‘Intimidated by what, the Master had a comparatively clear run as did we.’ ‘Maybe the Captain knew something we didn’t?’ ‘I doubt so brother, my sensors aren’t picking anything up.’ ‘Maybe it’s something only the Captain can sense.’ ‘Highly likely given the scenario that played out.' ‘The Force’ ‘Indeed’ “Will ya two stap chattin’ I need ya ta keep an eye on ta scanner sweep fah me and identify…” Tex’s words were cut off as the ship got glanced by some shot or another. They needed to keep flying and normal evasive manoeuvres could be read. He needed to access every part of his sense of self and creativity if he was going to try and outwit his fellow mechanicals, even if they were only droid brains slaved to defence turrets. They couldn’t afford to be worrying about the Kid right now, not if they wanted to have somewhere for him to return to at the end of this.

Nil weathered a few volleys aimed ahead of the YT-1300 as it made its first attack run on the freighter. While it was fortunate that the ATR-6 was a sturdy craft it would be at a disadvantage if the starchaser held to protecting the freighter. Meanwhile, Silas was finding it more difficult to get a proper vector on the razor-class starfighter. Far more maneuverable than the skipray he had elected to target before it also seemed to be well piloted, avoiding many of the easier target locks. Eventually however the speed of Silas’s TIE defender allowed him to fire a series of salvos from the quad laser array. ‘I’ll have to pull back on the thrusters, the engines are close to overheating.’ Silas calculated as he attempted to bank into more favorable positioning.

A row of green lances repeat and bursts around the escort group.

Continuing his straight trajectory- Dastan's coordinates entered in a moment ago locked in and flickered on his dash.

*"Mercy, RX, jump when ready. We'll reconvene and debrief shortly." he spoke through his comm to the yt-2000 before him.

He spoke to the rest of the escort group,
*"Got what I needed here. I'm heading out- and will be in contact again shortly."

...Until we meet again.
He thought, melodically, as his right hand flipped a few switches on his dash, before comfortably returning to the stick to the right. He thumbed the safety back on to his cannons. And placed his left hand on the throttle.

A few peppered shots found their way toward his ships, however that instant, his engines ignited brighter Before erupting to hyperspace like a shot.

The Piloting droid acknowledged the order of “Plan B” it flipped switches and adjusted controls. As the droid did this laser shots impacted
The freighter, the shields held but for how long could not be said. The YT-1300 continued its course.

Warvanus piloting the Starchaser kept his course providing cover support to the YT-1300. He narrowed his eyes. The war bringer truly hated all those who meddled in their affairs. His anger barely contained, his hatred oozing out of him in waves through the Force. He did not care if it paintned a target on him, he wanted blood. He wanted someone’s head. He wanted to satisfy the “dark passenger”, he needed to kill.

He returned another round of blaster fire again towards the ship that fired on the YT-1300, he hit the comm to the Freighter.

Droid Execute Plan B” was all he said

=Aboard the YT-1300=

The droid head the command to execute plan B, the droid’s appendages flew across the control panels, as it did so it flipped a switch, which told the cargo bay doors to open, and as such the cargo that they had been transporting was jettisoned into the vast expanse of space. Shortly after the sub lights on the YT-1300 grew brighter as it made its jump to Hyperspace.

Warvanus could not believe what he was witnessing. He snarled as he watched his cargo dumped, there was no way to recover it not in this firefight. He snarled, if he had been heard it would have sounded like a angered wild dangerous animal. Just then his comm came to life. It was Lord Dastan Imatari, he was making a run for it too. Shortly after the message he saw his ship make the jump. When he landed he would be short one piloting droid as that droid earned its death.

The Starchaser broke formation, and soon after the Starchaser made its jump to hyperspace but not before telling the other Sith in the convoy that they needed to regroup, and plan their next course of action for retribution.

It wasn’t long after Nil laced the freighter with shots that an event beyond Silas’s comprehension occurred. Just before he finally was able to lock-on to the razor-class starfighter it jumped to hyperspace. Silas couldn’t believe what he was seeing, the Sith, only just removed from Tormentous, running away. “Cowards, stand and fight! This is incredulous! Outrageous!” Silas continued to vent over coms as the Sith balked at the first sign of resistance. “Cut off the head and the body falls. Those bags of flesh lost both their leaders both military and spiritual. They are no longer what they once were apparently." Silas was silent for a long moment before answering, “This is such a disparity I am having difficulty coming to terms with it.”

Silas finally pulled out of his attacking vector and reallocated the defender’s energy partitions back to their default positions. It was stunning to believe that with a battle practically hand delivered to them that the Sith would tuck tail and run. Silas could see pirates dropping cargo but for a faction like the Sith to not draw the conflict into a prolonged skirmish seemed antithetical to their entire culture. The seething, burning, passion Silas had not felt since the days he had stood side by side with Tormentous ate away at him now as he was forced to meekly take his cut from the venture in monetary fashion before departing altogether. Apparently meeting the current Sith in battle would be far more difficult than he had anticipated.

Some time prior to the skirmish...

For an independent vessel, traveling up the Hydian Way towards the Gordian Reach didn't attract much undue attention. In Buggie's case, though, a Helix-class light interceptor would tip off any Imperial patrols that came in close enough to run a focused scan on his starship. What that meant for him was a considerable amount of casual flying, obeying all standards of inter-system traffic, and never once sending a jolt of power to his weapons systems. That particular decision carried its own risks, as Buggie would be forced to make a speedy getaway if he did get selected for a random inspection. Being weaponless when a patrol of TIEs were breathing down your neck was about as stressful as navigating the tightest portions of Ooroo Canyon back on Ossus with nothing but your own instincts to keep you level.

Not that Buggie had ever attempted that particular run. He could hardly complete a simulator session without getting vaped back in those days, and his piloting had not improved much since.

All said and done, Buggie had eventually reached Feriae Junction, which was often just referred to as Junction, though there were several that shared the name within the galaxy. Since he had obeyed the proper flow of traffic, he was running behind schedule, and so he decided to cut some time off of his journey to the rendezvous point by foregoing Sorrus and just jumping into the Gordian through the Feswe Minor Corridor, which conveniently linked up with the Feriae system. From there, he would reach Ladarra, a desert planet originally colonized during the days of the Old Republic, like so many others. Ladarra did have a route running to Yavin, and he intended to take it and link up with the raid group there. Buggie had decided that there was no further time to spare, so he engaged the hyperdrive and pushed forward into Sith territory.

Some time prior to the skirmish...

"Now that's lucky," Buggie mused aloud, before reminding himself that Master Godot would have chided him for making such an observation.

Buggie had dropped out of hyperspace in the Ladarra system early, just to play it safe, since he didn't know what would be waiting for him on the other end of the jump. In the far distance, twinkling flares of sublight engines played along the backdrop of space. This, Buggie recognized, was a patrol, and judging by the significantly larger glow of one of the vessels, it was accompanied by a capital ship of some sort. Had Buggie dropped out of hyperspace where he originally intended, there was no doubt in his mind that he would have reverted to realspace directly in the midst of the patrol. Not only would they have gotten a focus scan in on his vessel immediately, but if any trained Sith were aboard any of the ships, they would have instantly picked up on his presence within the Force.

From this deep within the system, Buggie could feasibly jump to lightspeed for Yavin and bypass the patrol altogether. It would eat up more time to have his navicomputer calculate the precise coordinates from his current position, but he had been making decent time since entering the Gordian Reach. There was still a chance for Buggie to catch some of the action and assist in the recovery operations, so he put the computer to work.

Once the vector had been determined, Buggie wasted no time making his jump to the Yavin system, specifically Yavin Prime.
