Sith - 9/19
Jacobi stood on the landing platform with an irritated look on his face. He despised these slow days in the hauling business but he couldn’t deny they paid out extremely well. With his efforts ongoing in the Mandalorian Sector to boost his base of power before the time was ready for him to launch his strike against the heart of the Sith Empire - shipping materials in and out had turned into just the excursion he needed to make it all happen. Without funds an army could not operate, without weapons and ammo an army could not complete their mission. This was a means to that end and along with their fruitful raids not long ago against the Outland Flight Corporation they were in a position to reap the full rewards here.
Regardless, Jacobi Wylcott stood with his arms crossed over his chest as he watched the slow transfer of cargo from the dockyards to his two freighters. This was going to be a long day and a longer flight. He only hoped he wouldn’t drive himself crazy along the way.
In preparation though he had brought a deck of cards and fully intended on relieving whoever was so foolish to play him and failing that he had brought three bottles of some very potent alcohol in which he could try a last ditch effort to get his lost funds back by a drinking game - or through the rowdy process of a drunken brawl - whichever came first but most likely all of the above.

Warvanus was back in his Starchaser Starfighter, while his freighter served its purpose, it was now in the ownership of his apprentice, so when he heard of an escort needed for the newest shipment of materials that in the end would help the Mandalorian cause, he was quick to volunteer. He had followed along side the convoy, his piloting droid acting as a backup. All the instruments were reading normally, nothing on the radar, so far smooth sailing. He always enjoyed these one off missions, it was a break from his normal duties which sometimes seperated him from the front lines
He did not know who else volunteered for escort duty but their was strength in numbers.

Re: Sith - 9/19
Koudelka while she was more than capable of flying her new YT-1300 she would rather leave it to droids, unfortunately she didn’t have a choice in the matter. Before take off her pilot droid was malfunctioning and in a fit of rage Koudelka tore its head off only leaving a tangled mess of droid parts. By that time it was already to late to purchase a new one, and she didn’t need to be late for the convey.
Taking a seat in the pilot’s chair she punched in the coordinates Warvanus had pinged her. She was looking forward to the break from her rigorous training , and participate on the frontlines, something she had not done yet. She thought more often than not afterwards if she would survive his training or not. Koudelka welcomed it giving her more resolve and determination. Looking through the view point, she saw time and space bend, the Galaxy stretched, from one single point in space appearing as though it stretched into many white fragmented lines until they hit the slipstream of hyperspace.
Before long she had reached their rondeview, as her ship exited hyperspace she hailed her master knowing he had already arrived.

Rane was more than comfortable in the cockpit of his StarViper starfigher. The Blue Star Pirates’ Nightshades had been hard at work over the last few months and had managed to get word from one of their contacts in the Mandalorian Sector that the Sith were planning a small, lightly escorted convoy. Considering the recent hassle that the Sith had presented, it was time for the Blue Star Pirates to pay them some retribution.
As Rane entered the coordinates into his navcomp, he engaged the master-slave circuitry connection between his two StarVipers and waited as the navcomp crunched the coordinates and spat out a jump vector.
Bringing the ships around, Rane engaged the hyperdrive and hoped that once his ships re-emerged from hyperspace that the Sith convoy would be waiting to be raped of its bounty.

Re: Sith - 9/19
Fully loaded and prepared the Action V Transports lifted off of the platform and rose up into the skies. On engines burning hot their mass was elevated up into the higher ranges of the atmosphere and from there the freighters set up to top speeds in order to achieve escape velocity of the planet. It wouldn’t be much longer still and they would breach into the darkness of space beyond.
Already their navicomputers were cycling and plotting jump coordinates though for their swift launch from the world below they still had some time before they reached the actual jump point.

Re: Sith - 9/19
Warvanus’ starfighter broke away from the other convoys when he saw the Action V transports hit the stars, his starfighter fell into formation. He could sense the presence of his apprentice and then saw what was his old freighter, He hoped this would be a quiet run but if past history was an indicator then the War-Bringer would see a fight. The Sith had a lot of enemies, just him escorting the shipment was not enough despite his prowess on the battlefield.
He checked his instruments and so far everything was in the green, he had not picked up any incoming ships as of yet…

Re: Sith - 9/19
Rane watched as the navicomp counted down...3...2...1... at which point he disengaged the StarViper's hyperdrive. As the ship reverted to real space once again, Rane raised the ship's shields and armed his weapons.
"What the... there's no one here," he said aloud in the cockpit. "Damn."
The Sith had managed to escape once again. Rane was frustrated by his failed attempt to intercept the Sith convoy, but knew there would be other raids in the future. With that, he entered a new set of coordinates into the navicomp and re-engaged the hyperdrive causing the fighters to leave as quickly as they had come.

Re: Sith - 9/19
Warvanus kept in tight formation with both the transports and the YT. As his fighter moved along he was anxious to unleash a painful brutal death to any who would interfere not only in Sith affairs but in the affairs of the Mandalorians as all enemies of the Sith deserved only death. It was their way, it was his way. He opened a comm. to the rest of the convoy
“Stay sharp, I don’t like this quiet” he had said, he of course knew Jacobi was on a constant alert, and he knew his apprentice Koudelka was also alert, as she seemed eager to please her Master. Warvanus had receieved the co-ordinates for their destination and had entered them into the Navi-computer ready to pull the trigger on it as soon as the rest of the convoy was ready.
He glanced down at his instruments again and caught a very brief but distant blip. He was almost certain it was not Sith, the Imperials would not do anything to provoke them, and the Alliance would not send such a small taskforce, that left only a few options, either Smugglers and Independents or Pirates. Wouldn’t be the first time Pirates stuck their noses into the affairs of the Order of the Sith Lords, wouldn’t be the last. He kept his eye on the radar but as quick as it pinged it was gone, it really did look like smooth sailing to their destination.
Although Warvanus was itching for a fight, he was glad that it was quiet, this cargo was important to their cause.

Re: Sith - 9/19
All seemed quiet with the convoy, which for the Sith was a rarity , Warvanus maintained his course as the convoy continued its route. Warvanus stretched out with the Force, there was quiet. On one hand this shipment was critical to the cause, and it was good that it would proceed as planned but the warrior within was like a caged animal. It yearned for release to unleash torment , death and pain to those who opposed him and the Sith.
He was also surprised at the lack of escort, maybe it was felt that the War-Bringer was the equal of a small army. He glanced down at the instruments and all the readings were where they should be. He took the throttle and eased it forward as his craft gave a small burst of speed. He did not pass the convoy he just inched himself up a bit
One thing Warvanus knew for certain was that Jacobi would be pleased with the outcome of the shipment.
