Brutus struggled to process what he was seeing, the great Lady Kota, prisoner of the empire, was here in front of him. 'How..Why..' His thoughts buzzed with a million questions. However before he could ask one he heard the buzz and a voice he had not heard in a while, Governor vassyl. He was about to rush to cover her, however it seemed that the governor was aware of her being the Grand Inquisitor. Brutus was taken back, if Vassyl knew who else did.

She continued to cry, when a familiar voice spoke, it broke her sobbing if only briefly. "I want to go home." She said softly. It was something that was that was impossible, but it didn't stop her from wanting it. She hadn't seen her home in years and feeling like a prisoner wasn't helping the matter.

He heard her words, it was odd hearing her voice, and her words were shocking, he looked at the file still open. He took notice that the file didn't mention her home. 'Did I cause this?' He thought. The earlier conversation was brought to mind.

Doren had to fight to keep his lower jaw from slamming down into the snowy turf. Clearly, the situation was far beyond what he could have imagined. If there was one thing the Jaeman understood, it was love, affinity– a yearning for one's home– one's motherland. Vassyl understood it was woeful enough to lead a life of exile, to be restricted in movement due to the Grand Inquisitor's unique circumstances. For the enigma known as Kota however, it was worse still. The ground of her ancestral home had been torn right out from under her. Vaporized, obliterated. The very thought of it made the governor glower at the wanton barbarism the age of superweapons enabled.

He shook his head slightly to himself. Now was not the time to mourn catastrophic policies of the past. All Doren could do now was to offer a more comfortable future for his old ally. Wanting to bring his miniature self closer to the Dathomiri's eye level, the holographic Vassyl took a knee, and removed his officer's cap in a gesture of sincerity. "You have my deepest sympathies, Your Eminence", he softly commented, "I know I cannot give you what you seek– but I would like to offer the chance for a reprieve. You may recall that I operate a lakeside resort on Jaemus. I can have arrangements made for droid-only staff within six hours". Doren paused to present one of a rare, but genuine smile, "No one will disturb you, much less know you are there. And, of course, you may stay as long as you like".

'A resort...'She thought, she didn't know if she wanted that. It still sounded like a prison, but maybe she needed a break from everything. She doubted that it would do anything to satisfy her desire to return to Csillia. However it perhaps wasn't her true home, though Dathomiri had been a home, it wasn't her home either. "I need permission to find the Grand Admiral, while I'm there." She said as she started to dry her tears with the towel Brutus had.

The governor seemed to be capable of defusing the situation, she seemed to be responding. 'Grand Admiral? Who the hell is she talking about?' He thought. He was very confused with the situation unfolding.
