His boots, shined and polished, clanked measurably upon the durasteel decking of his high office at the Imperial Naval Headquarters. Footfalls took him to the window and he spared a long few minutes, observing to ongoing scene of training, efficiency and professionalism as displayed by the men of uniform, a span of pride filled his heart to see it and briefly it took his mind from the intelligence reports he’d been receiving for the last weeks. Now that they’d made it to his desk he now had to make a determination of their validity and either execute; mobilization or continuation of routine operations throughout the Galactic Theatre.
Literally the fate of many thousands rested on the next whim of a man, aged in the art of war and whose reputation was equally as strong as the honors he’d been awarded during his service to the Galactic Empire. “Gentlemen,” his voice boomed across the room to the assorted and handpicked commanders of the Imperial Navy.
“In days like these,” he paused though he remained facing the viewport, “we train and bide our time. The constant skirmishes with the Blue Star Pirates throughout our space, the border engagements with the Galactic Alliance all along the Prelemian, and the operation of containment that is ever ongoing against the religious fanatic Sith… these events keep us sharp and our minds keen by the blood of our valiant men and women. At a great cost we daily forge our right to live in an orderly peace amongst our great and beloved Empire.”
He turned in a rush of his cape to face his assembled audience, “In days like these, we must not only be ready to stand vigilant along the ramparts, but we must also be well prepared on fronts far and wide.” He approached his commanders, “We shall answer the call, and as watchmen we will defend. By the oaths we’ve taken as men of the Empire, it is time to stand.”
Swiftly he moved to his desk and keyed the verbal commands to initiate the interface with which he could verbally record formal dispatches. “Immediate Dispatch, authorization code inserted.” He took one last breath and then he prepared the transmission.

This point of junction will allow for superior mobilization of the Imperial 3rd Fleet and the 3rd BG will act as an immediate reinforcing body to the 1st BG and 2nd BG as necessary though the 3rd BG is to conduct their own patrols in the outlying star systems as relayed specifically to the OIC.
>>>The 2nd Battle Group, 3rd Fleet will remain North of the Prelemian Trade Route as the Imperial Army and Navy conducts personnel conscription and the necessary training and equipping as per Imperial Military Doctrine. The 2nd BG will make capacity armaments and once accomplished, will make best speed for (REDACTED) in order to reinforce any beleaguered Imperial Forces or to otherwise bolster Imperial Positions throughout the implied Sector of Operations.
