Raven kept the thing asleep, wrapped tightly in the frayed yellow blanket from it's latest stolen resting place, and ensuring it kept warm with manipulation of energy. While she oversaw the valuable, it was made apparent she was unphazed by being thrust into the surprising role as it was. Slade, while he briefly had this space to work, he on his Infiltrator, sent the latest contacted ship a special sect of translations which would eventually translate as a distress signal. The Talon would much sooner rather than later have it's hands full with this special bundle Raven would drop off to them.

The YT 2000 Talon broke out of hyperspace and made adrift in the deep quiet of space. There was nothing out there though this is where the distress call had come from. Ben Kenobi, Jedi Master, was loathe to ever leave a stone unturned and so he pursued the call and here he was sitting in the cockpit of his ship with nothing on the scanners. Had be been too late? Couldnโ€™t be the case, there was no signs of combat nor wreckage of fighters or other spacecraft.

He sat back in his chair and folded his hands across his chest. Closing his eyes he relaxed and with the Force as his ally he took his gaze and looked outwards. Opening his eyes back up he glanced out to a specific point in space. Obvious he saw nothing but the twinkling starlight. But he could feel something was out thereโ€ฆ

The Infiltrator was in fact cloaked, and for them to not be immediately seen was perfect, as Slade knew the Jedi could only be trusted to remain so patient with their adversaries. He couldn't recal that many details of the attempt Blood had made to overthrow Tormentous, but he did know this very Jedi was involved. And he genuinely hoped, as the Verpine had, this one would follow such patient steps to ensure yet another covet was cared for.

Raven kept her signature nulled only to a degree, only enough for the Jedi Master to get a slight whiff of her lack of Light nor Dark within their essence. She would seem to be the only soul here, however Slade was in fact there with her, despite being Forceless. It was hard for him to be content with such a thing, and he wasn't however patience was mandatory, and his plan, this included, had to be acted out accordingly. Sending a plainly written message, the Sithian promptly asked for the boarding permission between the two ships, as a gift had to be delivered to the Coalition,

Itโ€™s a trap!

Benโ€™s mind screamed at him not to listen to this and fire up his weapons and shields. His hands even rested now on the controls of his ship to do soโ€ฆ yet he did no such thing. He waited with conflict in his mind. Everything, literally all his experience told him that this situation was going to lead him down a difficult path of a challenge heโ€™d not yet been through. But there as he sat and saw the digital message on his CMD, he found himself acting on instinct. Before he knew it heโ€™d given permission to access the YT 2000โ€™s starboard airlock.

With a sigh, he prepared himself for the worst yet hoped for the best as he moved to the airlock, staff in hand and his cloak brought over his head to help shadow his face even though he had the striking feeling that those that wished an audience already knew who he was from the beginning.

He needed to have patience here and as he stopped and stood before his airlock doorway he closed his eyesโ€ฆ and awaited his guests.

The affirmation was silent, subtle, and allowing. Raven turned to Slade, and nodded, just as a second later, he allowed himself to unveil the Infiltrator's position and thus the matte black space vehicle slowly and modestly became real beyond the portview. Slade began the stall in engines, and straightened after the released latch allowed the dock onto the vessel. The connection was soft, as though it was completely meant to be, but that the silencer on the Infiltrator's own airlock. Smooth and efficient, the oxygen pumped in, gravity was made within the hatch, and he turned to Raven, escorting her from the Infiltrators main chasm to the airlock.

Standing in the entryway of the airlock, he would witness this transfer, and keep his mind and heart steady of all of this. It had to be done. All of this was to go accordingly. And should the Jedi be willing, he would find this gift most useful.

The Airlock opened, revealing the pale grey girl, violet hair bobbed to the nape of her neck, hovering unbeknownst to the many, and holding this sleeping yellow bundle against the folds of her indigo cloak, waiting with unbated breath. She was always at pokerface value, undeterred by anything in life. This was what made her the perfect Phantom within the Sith's council.
Stoic.

The airlock opened with a hiss and delivered someone onto the deck of the YT 2000. Ben stood there, try as they may to hide themselves from him they could not fully suppress who they were. โ€œSith.โ€ Ben spoke in a warning tone. The mortal enemy of the Jedi. For millenia the Sith had plagued the Galaxy and now Ben was playing host to a pair. He did not make a move.

He was calm in the face of this danger. But his mind raced with possibilities. But clearly they werenโ€™t here to fight, had they been then heโ€™d already be engaged as per the Sith standards of not being interested in talking. But Ben Kenobi was patient.

He would let them make the first move. So long as they were docileโ€ฆ he would entertain them as wary guests. โ€œState your business.โ€ He spoke to them in a stern tone though it was gentle and extremely weighed.

Slade didn't want the Jedi to simply eviscerate them where they stood, however some things merely couldn't be helped. If they were to die, it would be a quick death, and not rolling around in a Thought Bomb for all eternity. The Xandir wouldn't give the Jedi a reason to strike, and surely neither would the calmer Raven.

The faction's name came skating from the lips of the elder before them, and Slade nodded, confirming yes, they were, in fact, Sith. Should Ben be any more inquisitive, he would know Slade was the main Apprentice to Tormentous before a complete buffoonery of madness took over the Sith, drama and the like. But that was not here. Here, Raven held the bundle out to Ben, and pulled her Force influence from shielding the existence of what it was to the Jedi Master. It held no hidden intent, and neither did the Sith, other than their own hopes for survival. For now.

Slade said nothing, and Raven, after a second, offered the bundle to the man before her and her Lord. It began to rouse, and soon it would squirm.

Ben starred at them both. They spoke no words in response to his questioning but he wasnโ€™t upset by it. More patience awaited them and he was rewarded by the dropping of the girlโ€™s Force Shield and from there Benโ€™s senses were alerted and so he dispatched them to query. His mouth fell agape for a moment before recollecting himself and then instinct really did take over; he leaned out his staff and set it against the wall and approached the sworn enemy of his kind.

Taking up the bundle he brought it in close to his chest and cradled it. He backed away from the Sith and looked them square in the eye. Not to the girl but to the man who stood in the shadows. โ€œStay. I can get you out of here.โ€

Slade felt the man's realization in his sights, the shock was just... beautiful. Slade wasn't impressed by the Jidai's ability to keep a straight face, no...He was impressed by the man's weakness. His resilience to their outer hull only to release that guard, and allow himself a moment to be human...just for now. To show that there was something much more than puffing out chests and preparing for war whenever their eyes locked. No. This Light Sider was human, as was he, and that emotion did not slip the Sithian's keen gaze. In fact, he reciprocated the addictive need to feel, as way his factions creed, and he didn't make it hard for the Jidai to see and hear his own mind on the situation that those aged arms held. A warmer and much more considerate hue flooded both eyes, the sun and the moon, and it eclipsed his face in a shadow of longing and heartfelt consideration that threatened to force a nod from him. But a swallow and a breath later, he admitted to the Master. "I can't. I'm not done lying, yet." He had glanced pointedly between the careful man and the bundle in his arms. It was clear that baby was what he meant. And from what he had allowed the Jidai to observe from body language alone, or even if he had touched on Slade's feelings about it, it would have been made clear what he was doing. He was risking the life of he and his former mate to preserve the life of their spawn. It hadn't asked to be born, let alone be slaughtered or raised in this terrible way of life. If there was something good he might have been able to allow in this universe, his weakness was youth. He had given Buggie the fairy girl Zorua, and prayed she faired as beautiful as her spirit was, out in the fields frolicking as Jedi freely did, surely, and now... he hoped the same for V'Sunnah, a name which translated well into what he was meant to be- The Prince.

Sobering his gaze, he brought it back to the Master. "And we need your help to do it." Raven hovered forth, her limbs not moving as she levitated nearer from the further place where she flanked Slade. Just to be side by side with the former Dragon King. Ease of distance for what was to happen next. "Erase our memory of this meeting happening, and make sure there's no trail leading back to you. Or him. And for you to raise him as he should be, not as someone else wants him to be." If this plan should work, then the Hunter would be able to get away with not knowing where the child was, and there would be no way of being found out. They'd have to erase the datacoms and coords, but that was easy. Toss the drive out, that's nothing. But they needed to be blank enough with no chance of Tormentous himself ever finding out. "He will look, but he must not ever find." They should both know who that 'he' was. by now.

"A child needs a dad, not just a father.โ€ Ben commented simply, suggesting that he could and would raise the child but he could never be to Vโ€™Sunnah what Slade should have been. Even as harsh as perhaps Slade would have been, it was the love of a dad, not simply a father, that made the differences between a world night and day. But in the end he did understand the reasonings behind Sladeโ€™s decision. He may not have agreed and he even believed that if Slade and his lover had ran from the Reach that the Jedi could protect them allโ€ฆ but Slade was convinced otherwise and as such there was no argument to be made.

It was done.

Ben stepped aside from the airlock so that it could close and seal. โ€œI will terminate the logs. This meeting will have never happened. But what you do with your memories is your own business.โ€ Ben knew of the Sithโ€™s ability to tear memories from the mind and create gaps in a lifeโ€™s threads. He knew of the power but of course did not know it himself. If Slade desired to pursue that route than he would have to do so on his own terms with his fellow perhaps. But he would be doing so on his own ship, not the Jediโ€™s.

โ€œYou should learn to keep your memories your own. Losing these would be a mistake. Your child deserves better. But if you insist, then this meeting is over and I implore you one last time that there are other ways to see tomorrow through.โ€

Ben raised his left hand to rest on the control panel for the doorway. โ€œDo not forget where you came from. It defines you. Not him.โ€
