Battle for the Holocron (Silas/Kita)
Silvanius had approached the tomb where her master's possessions lay. Her silver boots clicked as the wind kicked up, shielding her eyes from the sand blowing through the sky. Without permission, she had forcefully pushed open the doors the new Dark Lord had sealed.
The doors creaked open, layers of dust already covering everything in the tomb. Walking into the room, Silvanius glanced at the tapestries and other items her master had collected. The one thing that stood out most however was Lord Tormentous's iconic skull throne. The one thing in the throne room that freaked her out but also secretly she found amusing. It definitely screamed out her master's dark Aura.
Approaching the chair, she looked carefully at the details, and every skull put upon it. One in particular caught her attention more than the others as it was smaller than the rest. She remembered her research and stories told by the sith. The one that remained unnamed as her statue crumbled slowly from age in the courtyard. The one that started Lord Tormentous's reign.
Silvanius shook her head and sighed as she sat down on the skull throne. Now Kita Ikari had a whole mess to fix, tasking herself to somehow separate the mandolorian Jacobi from the man of darkness…but how when she did not know where her master currently was? Until then, she awaited patiently for her master to rise once more. But in the meantime she had to deal with Silas. And that started with obtaining Tormentous's holocron from his hands. Silvanius knew there was no need for it in Silas possession as he already knew everything there was to know within the force. He just kept it as a trophy and a way to piss off the young apprentice. "Pain in the ass is what he is." She grumbled to herself.
Hearing a small deep purring growl, Silvanius looked over to the tombs entrance as her pet nexu walked in, tail high. "Warv! I thought you would be staying home." Her pet nexu approached her, putting one of his now large paws on her master's lap before expecting scratches to his head which she gladly gave. "There is a lot still to be done. Let's get going."
Ready to take on the task of defeating Silas in a one on one touch duel for the holocron, Silvanius got up with her head held high. Her mind solely set on her battle with the new Dark Lord. After closing the tomb door, Silvanius mounted her pet nexu. "Back to the Citadel!"
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
Once outside the throne rooms closed doors, she dismounted her nexu. "You stay out here. I'll be back." She commanded. With a small growl of worry, he laid down in the hallway patiently for her return.
Kicking the doors open, Silvanius' faded blue gaze seemed to brim with fire. She wanted that holocron, and an excuse to hopefully bring down the new Dark Lord's ego a notch. Although she didn't have high hopes of winning the duel, she knew she wasn't one to run away from a challenge.
The light in the room reflected off of Silvanius silver attire as she approached his throne, hands clenched tightly in annoyance. "I WANT THAT HOLOCRON!!!" She yelled angrily as she slid her right palm on top of her sabers hilt in preparation and caution of an oncoming attack should he decide to go for her without warning. "You said I could fight with you for it. One on one. First to draw blood wins." She added coldly.
In her mind, Kita had never fought Silas. To say it made her nervous was an understatement. She was going up against a Dark Lord. One who could crush her in mere seconds much like Tormentous. However, despite all that, she never hesitated to act out around her superiors. If she was angry, then she was angry. She wasn't going to hide that fact.

Re: Battle for the Holocron (Silas/Kita)
The Dark Lord stood at peak of a flight of steps that led directly to his private antechamber within the Citadel hoisting a gemstone and peering into the ethereal ever searching for the secrets of his predecessor's flight. If there was any knowledge still withheld from the Sovereign it lay in the vanishing.
Such meditations were shattered however as the vast doors leading to the throne room below shuttered and creaked, allowing natural light to invade the premises. Silvanius's voice soon filled the whole of the Citadel's outer chamber and echoed throughout such that the Dark Lord could not ignore. Recalling the Irus’s Mirtis to his right hand the Sovereign sheathed the foul sword and began to make his way to the throne.
Adorned in his profane obsidian plated armor forged from the very ground to which the palace had been built, alongside the resplendent platinum of the armor-weave and the interior of the regal cape that hung from his belt, the Dark Lord was already armed in all but his helmet. The striking image of the Echani was further enhanced through unnatural arts to preserve the visage of his limitless lifespan. The young adept arrived with fury yet Silas met the angst with a raise of his hand in seemingly meek protest.
"So you've come for the trinket so soon? Aside from that you with for a match to first blood? I doubt any from your ilk truly understand what it means to contest an individual so far beyond themselves but this screams of folly." Biting, yet silky smooth oration washed over the fiery apprentice. If anything the months as lord had only intensified the potency of Silas's capacity in said area. Granting a moment for Silvanius to recant the Dark Lord took a deep breath and began to channel his future usurper's anger into something far more tangible (Feed on Dark Side).
"I see you are adamant in your conviction. Very well, let us see how long you are able to hold on to it." A rapid shift of Silas's stance shifted his right side behind him revealed training in hand-to-hand combat likely all but unknown to Kita yet infamous all the same. It also shown intent, as the Sovereign was content withholding the use of the Force unless Silvanius succeeded in pressuring him to do so. Dashing forward the keen eyes of the former battlemaster lost their hue, gleaming a dim pearlescent, as Silas lunged with a open palm from his left hand.

Re: Battle for the Holocron (Silas/Kita)
Silvanius scowled at the New Dark Lord as he spoke. It was true she was weaker than her opponent in many ways. Especially when it came to the force. However, she couldn't sit by and leave her previous masters holocron in Silas' hands any longer. The silver clad apprentice felt entitled to the holocron as Tormentous' apprentice. "Adamant? Yes. Folly? Probably. But that's still not gonna stop me from trying to win this duel." She replied.
Silvanius had already changed her stance the second the Dark Lord had. Taking out her saber, it hummed to life as she ignited it, the silver blade ready for battle as the apprentice faded blue gaze swiftly took note of the echani's advancing attack. It was obvious Silas was going hand on hand combat, and Silvanius preferred keeping her distance for the most part in battles. But it seemed almost inevitable this time. Thankfully the apprentice had a hidden card up her sleeve, unknown to Silas. As he closed in, there was no doubt he felt the presence of the forces connection weaken. She had hidden two ysalamiri on her person. Silvanius did not trust Silas at all, and had decided on making sure this fight was on her level as much as possible. This was to be a real hands on battle with no reliance on the force itself. Fortunately Kita had trained with the war-bringer after his banishment on another planet, teaching her how to fight without the forces influence. And Jacobi's training as well in hand on hand combat gave her another advantage.
"I hope some of my training with Jacobi pays off...it's been so long..." she thought worriedly as she pivoted aside a few feet away giving herself some ground.
Expecting a quick attack back from the echani, Silvanius ducked low to attempt avoiding any incoming hit he may have had in store. Silvanius' lightspear was angled in defence before swinging one of her legs at his feet to hook a foot behind his ankle. Using her saber, she swung the silver humming blade forward towards his stomach. Silvanius hoped that he either fell backwards which hopefuly gave her ample time to distance herself, or fall forward into the blade itself. It was a cheap shot, but gave enough time for her to figure out how she wanted to properly defeat the Dark Lord. However Silas striked fast like a serpent...and she needed to keep the pace in order not to get hit...

Re: Battle for the Holocron (Silas/Kita)
It was immediate and it was absolute, as Silas angled his strike downward to greet Silvanius's change in posture the orchestra of the Force's signature call was completely quelled and the energies he had gathered dispersed. This combined with a braced guard from the young apprenticed caused his initial hit to glance of her right shoulder. Catching the staff with his right heel Silas slammed the plated gauntlet of his right fist into the hilt just at the terminal end just before its lethal energies erupted.
Odd to Silas was how unphased his opponent was in wielding the lightstaff removed from the grace of the Force. Her opening movements were skilled enough to impede Silas's own offense. Leaning forward in stalemate mustering all the venom his voice could offer the Dark Lord chastised Silvanius's decision to bring filthy vermin into the palace, "Coward, I had hoped for so much more from you." Unattuned to the influence of the ysalamiri's presence but not uninformed it took little deduction on the part of the Sovereign to gauge what the young adept had done.
It would take less effort to locate the epicenter of the void in the Force the creatures produced however, this was not a match to the death. Were it not for his own pride Silas would have simply granted Silvanius the trinket. Lacking a real motivating indignity or hatred related to her Silas was not fighting to slay and as such his decisions as to how were greatly influenced. Using the youth's own aggression as fuel for his efforts the Sovereign rebounded in a wide arcing backflip.
Spacing his self four to five meters in front of Silvanius the Dark Lord drew the Irus’s Mirtis as the sapphire hue of his eyes faded to a pearlescent sheen. The air chilled as the extravagant sword began to gleam a faint platinum silver light. Honing the focus of bloodline Silas spoke aloud, "Light long lost calls to rise, the true dark lord a king deposed, gathered together at the appointed domain, to quell the light." As the Dark Lord spoke a barely perceptible sapphire hue lit from the script that had been etched down the length of the blade corresponding to the speech he gave.
The already heightened senses of the youth that stood against him would soon gather the hint of a chant that began to resound from the vile plating of the Sovereign's armor. A resonance soon formed between the blade and the armor restoring the supernatural echo that lay beyond the pair of combatants to the Dark Lord. "I lack the experience with Light's End to outright ignore your companions, however, you'll find that even if you are less encumbered by the lack of the Force when wielding that staff that alone will not close the gap in our experience."
What Silvanius would not understand for likely many months to years of training was that what followed was the first honest recognition of her abilities. The Sovereign granted the apprentice not the famed form II salute he had so grown accustomed nor the quietly held secondary stance he was so well versed. Instead, Silas took the blade behind him and lowered his stance as the Dark Lord now replicated the augmented senses he was so famed for with that only the highest tier of battlemasters could aspire.
Though likely able to employ the Force within his self thanks to the armor and sword he had forged carrying the legacies of souls sacrificed in their creation to do so now would grant such indignation as to be an insult worse than losing the contest outright. Rather, the Sovereign sprinted forward utilizing Shii-Cho for the first time in cycles. Dragging the super-cooled blade across the floor leaving a trail of sparks before slashing diagonally upward with an afterimage of ice and steam.
This time as Silas entered the spheres of the ysalamiri's influence it felt to him more of a hostile practitioner's use of suppression rather than outright unavoidable silence gnawing away at his focus. Of course any offensive use of the Force would still be negated, though as he attempted to cleave the upstart the Sovereign's mind recalled the arduous conflict with the Vong in what now seemed as a lifetime ago. This was not the first time his supernatural might was mitigated. Yet, it left the Dark Lord unsettled, as the manner to which it had been accomplished. A divergent view from Silvanius's former master, such tactics were beneath a duelist in his eyes.

Re: Battle for the Holocron (Silas/Kita)
Silvanius felt a breeze from the incoming hit as she ducked, which missed and flew just above her shoulder. Unfortunately her saber missed her mark also as the echani knocked it aside from her intended hit, but did manage to make the Dark Lord stumble briefly as his own power seemed suddenly weakened.
Silvanius had not expected the ysalamiri to affect the new Dark Lord so well. He seemed rather surprised by her tactic. Inwardly, the young apprentice thanked the war-bringer for helping her learn about the little force nulling lizards in her training. Her saber was indeed heavy without the force. But given the training she had sustained with Tormentous and Warvanus, she had built enough muscle in her arms to hold the weapon when it was ignited. Of course she didn't plan on using the saber full time in this battle. Silvanius had built the lightspear to assist her in both force and non force use. A multi tool of sorts which suited her every need.
She met Silas gaze of disgust as he seemed frozen in place above her.
"Coward, I had hoped for so much more from you."
There was a hint of amusement in Kita's gaze as the venomous words absorbed in her mind.
A small smile crept on Silvanius face, one that even Kita herself did not expect to show. As he backflipped out of range, the silver clad apprentice stood, placing a hand on her right bare hip, chuckling lightly at Silas.
"Coward?"
Disabling her saber but still holding her lightspear tightly in hand, Silvanius couldn't help but to throw a smartass remark to the Dark Lord.
"I call it being clever."
Spinning the lightspear in thought, she definitely was enjoying herself. The smile never left her face as she met the Dark Lord's gaze.
"This is being a sith is it not? Or am i mistaken?" She asked with a mockingly innocent tone.
The words rang true as she messed with his head on the question. In this moment Kita Ikari had to think like a sith. Act like a sith. And strike hard and fast. There was no holding herself back on Silas Karn this time. This battle was more then just for the holocron. It was a act of revenge, although a small one. Silvanius couldn't fight for the throne, but she could fight for Tormentous.
Silvanius took notice of the change in temperature of the room as the Dark Lord withdrew his sword. She watched in curiosity as the blade seemed to glow as the Echani's chant. She heard the echos of the swords power as he spoke, then preparing his stance for another incoming attack. The apprentice had no idea what he had planned as he lowered his sword to the ground...that is until he began dashing towards her with sparks flying as he drew closer. It became obvious he was gonna strike upwards.
Of course Silvanius had another trick up her sleeve.
Reaching in her silver bag, she grasped a couple smoke bombs moments before the sword left the ground. In one swift second, she threw it to the floor, a giant cloud of black smoke filling most of the throne room. Unknown to the young apprentice, unknowingly this move had protected Silvanius's vision from the afterimage affect he planned on making with the strike.
Silvanius jumped back, his sword just missing its aim' hair lengths away from slicing her through. Given her silver attire, she blended in well with the smoke. And had already began her advance on the echani.
As quickly as she could muster, Silvanius rushed behind Sila's. Taking the spear end of her lightspear, she jammed the weapon in-between the armor where his elbow bent holding the sword, allowing her enough time to throw a attack his way. The sith apprentice took out the special knife given to her from the war-bringer and aimed for Sila's face in a diagonal motion. "I just need one small nick in his skin to draw blood. I hope this hits!!!" she thought as she took a strike at the Dark Lord.

Re: Battle for the Holocron (Silas/Kita)
"This is being a sith is it not? Or am i mistaken?" Silas lowered his head and shook it aggitatitly. 'Oh yes the Sith are just to be viewed as simple, underhanded, no different than common thugs, untrained trash of the common man? Tormentous, what have you taught those under you?' Silas mused prior to launching his attack.
An lashing assault met with yet another less than savory tactic in a duel. Smoke filled the throne room and even the Sovereign had to commend the lengths Silvanius had taken to undercut his might. Diminished in both the Force and his famed sight the Dark Lord emitted a haughty scoff before closing his eyes. Already under the influence of the mastery of focus granted him by his heritage Silas smirked as every footfall from his opponent resounded as broken glass.
The currents of smoke filled air that Silvanius had hoped to hide her presence revealed themselves as a shockwave to the honed insight of the former battlemaster. In utter darkness the Sovereign then side-stepped and pivoted off his right heel, spinning out of Silvanius's thrust and positioning his self off her right side. With the momentum of his evasion Silas then clasped the young adepts spear-arm halting her own.
"Your lack of education on the Order is striking. Win at all costs against those more powerful than yourself rather than surpassing them is exactly what brought the Sith Empire of old to ruin." The fierceness had gone out of the Dark Lord's voice replaced with visceral disgust as he lifted Silvanius's arm and delivered a powerful side kick. Granting his opponent a moment to recover Silas held the Irus’s Mirtis outward with only his left arm. Listening for Silvanius's next approach.
It was not in the Sovereign's normal disposition to play so defensively, yet the manner to which Silvanius had sought him out and her beliefs now drew upon him to draw the conflict out. Unsure of how much the young apprentice could endure Silas looked to press her to the point of audible admittance of defeat rather than any agreed upon terms. Moreover, the weakness he saw throughout those that served him gnawed on his patience alongside ebbing away his leniency. Death would ill suit as Silvanius was still needed. Yet, how close the Sovereign could bring her in this contest was yet to be determined.

Re: Battle for the Holocron (Silas/Kita)
Being one who usually thought of every little detail in what she did, Silvanius had made a error. Unknown to her, the echani could hear her footsteps clearly from the high heeled boots she wore, and the fact it seemed the Dark Lords hearing was sharper then she realized even if she didn't wear shoes. This came to her realization the second the Dark Lord had grabbed her by her right arm. Still holding the knife in hand, Silvanius glared at the echani as he held her in place. She struggled to gain freedom, but his grip only seemed to get tighter around her forearm.
"Your lack of education on the Order is striking. Win at all costs against those more powerful than yourself rather than surpassing them is exactly what brought the Sith Empire of old to ruin."
Silvanius gritted her teeth in anger at his words. She knew this was true. However, this comment seemed to give her determination to want to speed up her own training. Cracking a vibrant smile at the echani, the young sith apprentice couldn't hold back her next thought. In the most melodious voice possible, she replied in turn. "Well then...I suppose I'll just have to surpass you...won't i?" She let the words sink in for a few seconds before continuing. Like a switch, Silvanius own demeanor quickly shifted into pure hatred. Her faded blue gaze bore like daggers at the Dark Lord. "Then I can take the throne for myself from your arrogant echani ass!"
Her comment quickly was responded with a kick to her the left side.
Crumbling to the floor, Silvanius inwardly groaned in pain as she held her side. With her right hand, she felt for any signs of open wounds. None seemed to be there from his kick, but the apprentice was sure there would be bruising later on.
Despite the smoke itself, it was obvious the air was starting to clear. While still enveloped by the smoke, Silvanius figured she had a better chance winning this battle by staying put. Reaching into her silver pouch, the sith apprentice pulled out one of the lizards and knew that where her lightspear had still been wedged in the Dark Lord's armor, she could get the little creature to perhaps get the echani to remove his protective layers. "Sorry little guy, but i want that holocron." she thought as Silvanius quietly made her way across the floor near the echani's arm. Lifting the lizard, she released it near the opening where her lightspear was wedged and watched as it moved inwards up his arm and began to make its way down near his torso.
As the ysalamiri moved about within the Dark Lord's armor, Silvanius removed the second ysalamiri and swiftly cut it in half with her knife. Putting the blade away, she yanked her spear away from the Dark Lord's arm and held it tightly.
Now seeing her opponent more clearly as the smoke dissipated, she leaped up smiling, awaiting the moment he had turned his attention back on her. The second he had, she threw the carcass of the dead creature at his face. The dead creatures entrails splashed onto Silas flawless looking skin, dripping down as the body fell to the floor. Taking this opportunity, Silvanius ignited her saber once more and swung at his left side. Whether it hit or not she did not know, but the young blonde apprentice was unknowingly enjoying this battle.

Re: Battle for the Holocron (Silas/Kita)
Visceral anger and shouting met Silas's ears as Silvanius's frustration was made apparent. The Dark Lord could not but cackle at the assertion that she believed it possible to take the throne or surpass him. This was despite the fact that her place within the order was precisely for that expressed purpose. After casting the upstart to the ground she then revealed a shocking disregard for life and perhaps a propensity for animal cruelty.
Not only sending one of the vile critters that had been pinning down the greater depths of the Sovereign's might to a certain death as its presence upon him was immediately detected by his heightened senses but by carving its mate in half herself. The immediate reduction in the void attempting to fully blot out the Force was palpable. The room illuminated before Silas's second sight as he had still not opened his eyes.
The grand arena displayed in a monochromatic sheen save for the vibrance of the Sovereign's own crimson hue as the would be usurper had yet to truly darken her own soul. Recovering the vermin that had trespassed upon his arm with a swift motion and mechanically clamping down on the treacherous beast with vice like precision Silas could sense the dissipation of the smoke in the air.
Turning toward Silvanius with his eyes still seemingly closed off to his surroundings only for the spilled guts from the inhumanely raised lizard in her care to be cast at Silas's face. The luminance of Silvanius's blade shown like a beacon as it ignited and rapidly shifted position in order to strike at the Sovereign's left side. Just as the sweeping lance arrived to take purchase upon the Dark Lord's waist and cleave him in twain sparks blazed from the lethal weapon being contested (Telekinetic Lightsaber Combat).
A single gripless hilt hung from midair lit with a vibrant fiery zirconium blade met the silver spear. What had occurred soon became clear to Silvanius. Blood seeped from Silas's left hand as it had crushed the interloping ysalamiri to death as he retained his grip on the Irus’s Mirtis with his right. Dropping the corpse to the ground the Sovereign began to carefully clean his face from the innards of its mate that Silvanius has so callously slain. "Finally ready to fight in earnest are we? While I appreciate subterfuge attempting to mute the Force and blot out my vision is not the assassin's approach. You entered here with a load proclamation then promptly undercut that by lowering yourself to such means."
Having finally finished cleaning his countenance from the filth as best he was able the Dark Lord returned his gaze to the temporal, his eyes now gleaming an sickly citrine hue. Having released the bloodline focus of his ancestor Silas replaced such methods with the peerless mastery of sense he held through the grace of the Force. With a deep breath the Sovereign feed from the immense pool of indignation that lit the core of his being and drew the Dark Side to his call through it as uniquely amidst the Sith it was neither anger nor hatred that he derived his focus.
"Let us begin in earnest." Silas's voice dripped with venom as he practically hissed at the upstart. Holding Silvanius in check with the single hilt he had called the Sovereign sheathed Light's End. Drawing another hilt from the pack at the small of his back Silas ignited the blade but held it at his right side. With the bulk of his focus on the first hilt he had drawn the Dark Lord began to slowly push Silvanius back. Injecting as much Form II influence as he was able through the art that was almost unknown in the current age, the Sovereign slowly pressed forward.

Re: Battle for the Holocron (Silas/Kita)
Silvanius knew Silas would be regaining his strength in the force the moment she killed one of the ysalamiri. Sad and yet also without much thought during battle, it was a important step needed in order to continue forward. Her own strengths in the force were limited unlike the Dark Lord. However, she was determined to continue her growth...and this battle was just one of those stepping stones.
She remained guarded with her lightspear, its weight disappearing quickly the moment the forces flow returned as the Dark Lords saber met hers, stopping her attack. The apprentice watched as the second lizard quickly met its demise, blood dripping down from the echani's hand before falling to the ground. "So much for that idea..." she thought. Observing the current situation, Kita realized that the blade had no one holding its hilt. Instead, Silas had been using telekinesis to give himself time to wipe the blood off his face before proceeding.
"Finally ready to fight in earnest are we? While I appreciate subterfuge attempting to mute the Force and blot out my vision is not the assassin's approach. You entered here with a load proclamation then promptly undercut that by lowering yourself to such means."
The sith apprentice bit down on her lower lip as Silvanius forced herself to keep quiet. She began finding Silas comments on how she undermined him in the duel irritating.
The apprentice watched in worry as Silas pulled out another saber mid-air. Her faded blue gaze narrowed in annoyance at the dark lord. Apparently she wasn't the only one keeping her defenses up now. The battle indeed did seem to be picking up in complexity. She felt her body slowly being pushed back as she kept her defensive stance. "This isn't going to work for me." she thought. Deciding to start taking a more direct approach on the issue, Silvanius shifted her weight quickly forward, pushing back the opposing sabers blade momentarily. This would give her a opportune time to dodge out of the defensive stance and attempt a offensive move. Silvanius knew it was gonna be risky considering the Dark Lord now had two blades, but she couldn't think of any other way to score at the time. Keeping her senses focused, Silvanius kept a eye out for any surprises as she prepared her attack.
In a instant, keeping her lightspear guarding her backside, she crouched and launched herself forward ramming into Silas forcefully shoving the echani with her body at full force in attempt to throw him off balance. Unsure if this would make him lose focus or not on his floating weaponry, Silvanius swiftly pivoted sideways, pulling out her dagger with her left hand. Jumping onto the dark Lords back, she wrapped her left arm around Silas neck while also wrapping her legs around his forearms and back for extra levarage as not to slide off. Seeing as the echani was taller then her, she wouldn't have been able to stand with the dagger properly aimed without doing so. She gripped the dagger firmly in hand, bringing the cold blade against his skin. In one quick movement, she nicked the echani's skin, just enough to draw blood. Strangely to her, the thought had come to mind to just rid of him now...but she shook the thought away. If she was gonna take the throne, she wanted to do it properly. Secondly, if she had killed him, she would have to face many other sith who came through the citadel doors for the throne. The young sith apprentice knew she wasn't ready for that.
"I win. Now give me Lord Tormentous's holocron." She said cooly.

Re: Battle for the Holocron (Silas/Kita)
((OOC: Posted on behalf of Silas Karn.))
An exposure of Silas’s two greatest weaknesses allowed the apprentice to grapple him from behind. The first being his vanity as he had wasted precious time clearing the filth from his face. The second and more egregious yet tightly held secret was his inability to detect harm from opponents that were otherwise beneath him in scale. Yet as Silvanius seemingly scored the decisive blow carving her dagger across the Dark Lord’s neck no blood emerged.
Instead a burst of crimson sparks crisscrossed the length of the wound (Repair) as Silas fiercely dislodged the youth with an amped elbow to her midsection (Force Charged Strike). Though he had evaded an unforeseen upset the expenditure necessary caused the dark lord to drop the hilts he had called with his telekinesis. With heavy breaths the Dark Lord slowly turned to face the brazen apprentice. “So close, I admit I’ve taken this lightly. However, it’s insulting that you felt the need to hold back just now. Had you attacked with the intent to kill while I would have still managed to mend the wound. However, I would not have managed to do so without granting you your victory condition.”
Recollecting his focus Silas raised his sword anew. “That opportunity is going to be one that you shall curse yourself for missing for cycles to come!” By now Silvanius had recovered her footing just as the Dark Lord set upon her with singular intent in Form 1 blade work. Vibrant white sparks lit the dim chamber as Silas pressed the apprentice back with the Irus’s Mirtis. Particles of ice melted into small busts of steam as the super-cooled blade contested the apprentice’s lightspear. Landing several glancing shots on Silvanius the Dark Lord was surprised to see that with this least of Forms under his mastery that he couldn’t cleave the upstart.
Unable to bleed the youth with his natural speed and skill and still fatigued from preventing his premature defeat Silas patiently went through his progressions. Slowly as he looked for an opening the Dark Lord began to recover his fortitude and the pace of his movements became swifter and more precise as the potency of the Force inclined. Slamming downward with a wide arcing vertical slash Silas forced his opponent to hold their guard. “For your sake I hope you have a greater array of abilities. There is no hope for you to maintain this defense for much longer.”
