A New Arrival

[Jortian Toch]

For a moment he watched as Rhoden took care of some New republic troopers. Then he stared forward as the blaster fire from his side of the hanger increased in its lethality. The Two troopers to his left took hits in their shoulder and one in his neck in the gap of his armor. Jortian made a mad dash for cover while pulling the two troopers with him. He rolled the one with the shoulder shot over and looked him over, alive but unconscious. The other trooper lied still, lifeless, but Jortian checked him anyway, dead. Jortian snapped his back against the crates he was using for cover and cupped his hands over his mouth.

"Trooper down! I need a medic over here!", he screamed.

The blaster shots were concentrated on the red suited inquisitor position, not on him, as a matter of fact he hear or feel any blaster bolts striking his cover. He peeked over the top and noticed that to his right the inquisitor was pinned down by their concentrated fire. Then he noticed as the troopers on his side began to be pushed back as the Enemy flanked Jortians position. Jortian knew he was about to be trapped in the middle of the fight so he took another peek over the crates. Several troopers began to bear down on the inquisitors position. He gripped his pistol tightly and popped up from cover facing the troopers that were flanking him on his left. They were not surprised by Jortian and immediately shot at him, one of the blaster bolts grazing his shoulder. Jortian managed to get off a couple quick shots downing the two troopers. He gritted his teeth and gripped his shoulder.

"Just grazed it, lucky.", he said as he touched the torn fabric and his burned skin. He gathered his resolve and popped up from cover again and fired upon the troopers bearing down on the inquisitor. One was struck directly in the side of the head before the rest turned and tried to take cover. They fired back in unison at Jortian as they dashed for the nearest cover.

"Dont worry ma'am, i got you!", he shouted at the inquisitor. In their haste for cover the Republic troopers knocked over a set of crates infront of jortians position. He noticed that it was his chance to close the gap on these traitors, as the medic ran up to tend to the fallen troopers Jortian hopped over his cover and shoot wildly at the Enemy Troopers. He slammed against the new set of crates with his hurt shoulder, which caused him to grind his teeth and take the pain. next to the fallen crates lied a dead Republic trooper, on his belt sit a single Thermal detonater. Jortian grabbed the grenade and flipped the switch forward and chucked the ball into the Republic Troopers cover.

"Watch out! Detonator!", shouted the Republic troopers as they sprinted in different directions. Two more troopers were caught in the explosion and it sent one of them flying over Jortians head right infront of him. The trooper was still alive and he began to crawl towards jortian foolishly fumbling for his pistol. Jortians brow furrowed and pointed his blaster and pulled the trigger and watched as his red bolt entered the mans face.

"Disgusting...", he said to himself. Then just as there was no heavy fire on him, hundreds of blaster bolts began to puncture and smack against his cover, he was pinned down.

[Lady Kota]

While she was trying to concentrate on what was bothering her in the force bolts blasted by her, snapping her from her concentration. Kota didn't know how these men got here or even if they were alliance soldiers, but she had enough of this. She concentrated with the force suddenly several items started to lift, one for each intruder. With the force she tossed them with enough force to knock them out on impact when they hit, some of the soldiers attempted to hide behind something else, but they were messing with the wrong force user if they intended to hide. One shot at her in an attempt to stop at her, though her armor took the brunt of the shot it would hit her flesh, however she didn't stop till they were all unconscious.

After the shooting was stopped, she concentrated on healing her wound, but her blades didn't leave her hands. She needed to know what it was that had bothered her in the force.

[Rhoden Carbine]

Rhoden continued to fire, lunging forward and stabbing yet another soldier. The firing had stopped, he surveyed the hangar and saw the reason. The rest of the enemies had been thrown about the hangar, knocked unconcious or dead, by the Grand Inquisitor herself. Rhoden raised his eyebrows beneath his helmet, noting that she remained on guard.

"Ma'am?" Rhoden asked, walking up to her. As one of two people within the Empire that Rhoden answered to it was quite possible she had also been a target of the attack. "Is something wrong?" Rhoden looked over at Cadet Toch, who was looking around rather stunned at the abrupt end to the combat.

[Jortian Toch]

Jortian stood to his feet clutching his shoulder. The combat had stopped after the inquisitor put on a grand show of the force.

I noticed that Rhoden and the Inquisitor were speaking so he decided to step up to them and join the conversation.

"So uh...What was that?", he said referencing the battle that just took place.

[Lady Kota]

"Something in the force." She said to Rhoden. Her blades ignited suddenly, she could have sworn that what ever it was had moved. Again however she wasn't sure, whatever this was was to faint to sense where exactly it was coming from. Kota moved with her blades ignited, as powerful as she was, something like this was eluding her. The cadet said something, but she was focused on finding out exactly what was causing this feeling.

Ooc: basically till you do your force sensitivity app Kota can't really sense you. She's sensing a disturbance, but not sure your the cause.

[Rhoden Carbine]

Rhoden's lip twitched as the Inquisitor replied "Something in the force." she ignited her weapons and began moving off. The Cadet came up, "So uh...What was that?"

"Well, it was a team of special forces, at least meant to look like they originated with the Rebellion." Rhoden said, "The target was not the academy itself, important though it is, I imagine the Grand inquisitor or myself was supposed to die today." Rhoden continued, looking around. "I'm rather disappointing, to tell the truth. They thought a few blaster wielding fools could handle us."

[Jortian Toch]

Jortian watched as the inquisitor walked off, weapons drawn. "Something in the force", she said. It was as if Jortian could hear her clearly from several feet away. "The force...", Words echoed in his mind.

"Yes it seems so...", He said to Rhoden. "But why are you two the targets and how did they possibly believe they could take you two down with just a small strike force?", He asked.

(Ooc) so I need someone to explain to explain to me how I do the force app and do I do it here or somewhere else?

[Lady Kota]

She could feel the faint traces of something in the force, she didn't know what it was or what was causing it. 'What is it?' she thought. Kota just wasn't sure, it just seemed to be able to elude her. Her dark red blade and white one moved with her arms as she walked to try and sense the cause of the disturbance.

[Rhoden Carbine]

"Well," Rhoden said, watching the Inquisitor with growing amusement. "The Inquisitor there is--er--an obvious threat." he said, as she looked around at nothing in-particular. "And--and, I'm the Commander of a rather troublesome task force." he said, trying not to laugh. Rhoden understood the Force, he'd seen what people like the Inquisitor could do, but he was rather amused at this latest display.
