Re: A Thief in the City
Mora lifts up her head and smiles brightly.
"Desade.." She murmurs, than giggles like a little girl, "mysterious." Mora looks at Desade and Rhoden, they were all sitting on the floor. Desade graceful and deadly, Rhoden calm and collected. For the first time in her life, Mora felt at home. It was an odd feeling, but warmth flowed through her body and she felt as bright and alert as ever. If this is what a family felt like, Mora liked it.

Desade's head tilted briefly to look at the pair, confusion on her features, her hand rested on her knife, but she didn't pull it from the sheathe on her leg, she wasn't sure what to think. Rhoden was actually... agreeing? With her? She smiled softly.
"Desade does not exist, you'll find no Imperial record, so her real name does not leave this room, everywhere else, please refer to me only as Silence, but in private, Desade can be Desade," she promised. "Commander, once we arrive at your Utopia, we will need a private area for just our use, if you wish to continue to observe and make your own judgements, you are welcome to do so," she offered him, "Perhaps we could discuss a few matters-" she paused to look at Rhoden with a smirk, "-privately, as well," she purred that last bit, eyelashes batting in his direction.
"But, child, let us begin with breathing, just breathe," she turned her yellow gaze toward Mora once more. "Just close your eyes and breathe, in and out, slow, a form of meditation, you do not need such connectivity to the Force to meditate, you can find a peace and calm... or you can stir up your emotions and let them boil free," she offered.
((OOC: Trying to keep it training light, our little Mora can register on the 17th, and then we can start working toward her Force sensitivity app and beyond, will also jump into the Utopia thread around then))

Re: A Thief in the City
"The facility will be provided," Rhoden said, smiling. He registered, in the back of his mind, his voice sounded as it had a long time ago, but it did not bother him, what did he care of the past? He laughed again, "I do believe I will watch." his voice was quiet but projected unfocused malice. "Your name will not leave this... group." he said to Desade.
Jorvan looked to the door behind which Rhoden had followed Desade and the girl. He bit his lip, Rhoden didn't need to be spending time with the madwoman, she couldn't be trusted, and could have worse affects on his friend than that even. "What's wrong?" Haly asked. Jorvan turned to her, "You and Rhoden are... close... aren't you? I mean I know you're friends, but I've never much gotten a reading of people like Rhoden does." he smiled weakly. She nodded, "Yes, we're close." she raised eyebrows suggestively and Jorvan snorted in laughter despite himself.
"Just... keep an eye on that woman, she worries me. And, to be honest, there are things she could do to Rhoden's mind I don't want to think about." he said. Haly frowned, "What do you mean?" he turned to her, "Rhoden just sort of... went away... after the incident with his father." Jorvan said. Haly winced, she had heard the tale before. "He didn't come back, really come back, until just before the Battle of Endor." he looked down at his hands, "i don't want him to go away again."
The ship shuddered as it dropped out of hyperspace and it moved to land in one of Utopia's hangars.

Re: A Thief in the City
Mora obeys Desade and closes her green eyes, taking deep breaths. She lets her head rest on the wall behind her and continues to breath. As the meditation goes on, Mora feels her body become weightless as though the room no longer exists and she's floating in space. A wave of calm washes over her and Mora finds her whole body relax, a slight smile settles on her face. A memory comes to mind, Mora sitting on the tallest building in the city. The sun was setting, coloring the sky pink and red and orange.
"Pretty..." She murmurs softly. The sunset fades away leaving Mora in the calm void.

There was the soft rock as the ship descended and landed, as Desade watched the girl, then nodded.
"Alright, medical, bathing, and then food for you, meditate like that each night," she told her, standing once more, before offering a hand toward Rhoden, her eyes fixated on him. "Once she's shown her room, perhaps you can take Silence to hers..." she purred seductively, "You should also meditate, I can show you all sorts of ways to do so," she added with a wry grin.

Re: A Thief in the City
The ship set down and Rhoden headed out of the cargo bay, reactivating the monitoring devices as he went. "Rhoden I--" Haly said, Jorvan standing alongside her, "Not now." he said brushing past her and not even registering her hurt look, Jorvan's concerned one. He tapped rapidly on his datapad and handed it to an aide as he walked down the boarding ramp. "You have ten minutes to get it done." the man blinked, startled and scurried off, an insect beneath Rhoden's notice.
Rhoden made his way to the medical bay with the others, "Dr. Mayers, you will kindly perform a quick--but full--examination of the lovely young woman." the Doctor--perhaps having been forewarned of Rhoden's strange mood, just smiled "Yes, sir." and set off to work, speaking only to tell Mora to do something.
Rhoden turned to Silence, "You will have access to guest quarters, which will be sealed to all but me and you two. They will be connected by way of turbolift to a sealed holographic chamber capable of full scenario rendering. If there is anything else you require do inform me." he smiled once more as the Doctor finished his examination and the few shots required for Mora. "Now, I believe, there was the issue of cleaning up." he gestured to a small but well appointed area to the side. "We will wait."

Re: A Thief in the City
The departure from the ship is very busy, people are rushing too and fro, grabbing boxes, equipment, Mora even sees the man they apprehended being rushed out. She shudders and quickly looks away. Rhoden becomes stiff and authoritative, barking orders and walking briskly through the many workers. Desade walks beside her, seemingly unfazed by the bustle.
Mora is ushered into a room with a flat table and medical equipment. Rhoden gives an order to a man with a white lab coat on and Mora finds herself being poked and prodded with only short commands from the man, telling her to stick out her tongue, breath deeply, and so on. The man, a doctor Mora assumes, finishes by giving Mora a few shots. She hisses when the needle enters her arm. Rhoden has been talking to Desade about sleeping quarters and training areas. When Mora is finished he gestures to an area closed off by a curtain; a changing area.
"We will wait." he says, a bit of softness returning to his voice.
Mora pulls the curtain back, finally entering an area of peace, if for a brief moment. On a chair in the corner she finds a black t-shirt, close-fitting black pants that stop at her calf, and black boots that seem very flexible. She notices when pulling the shirt over her thin body, her scar from the Imperial soldier shows. The knife had cut deep and the skin had regrown lumpy and white. Mora runs her hand over the scar, feeling self-conscience. But then she steels herself, letting the hand drop. Let people stare, they'll do it anyway. Mora grabs her leather jacket and walks out from behind the curtain. Rhoden and Desade are still waiting.

A hand snapped up then, to grab at Rhoden's hair, meaning to pull him into a kiss. What would be surprising was finding out that the woman was stronger than she looked, standing at five eleven, she was curvaceous, but there were some muscles there too. Whatever species she was, had a bit more strength then normal it would seem. She'd release him, and move to saunter off.
"Twice I feel rejected, Commander, I am starting to feel unwanted... but truly, it's your loss," she purred, walking toward her quarters for the time being. She needed to get settled before she started training with her new child. She had much to think about.

Re: A Thief in the City
Desade pulled him into a kiss and what remained of his senses shorted out. The kiss broke and he was left, only barely registering her words. He felt--happy, and exhilarated? His eyes shone brighter, his breathing was faster, and his hands were held out sideways still in shock. But in the back of his insolent little mind was a nagging voice: What about Haly? it hissed, She was yours, wasn't she? He frowned. To think of her as an object was not at all acceptable behavior, he had strong feelings for her. No. Desade was better, she had more to offer. They could understand each other.
Mora walked out of the refresher clean and with new clothes. Rhoden smiled, "Come, my dear." he said, no hint of the former Rhoden--the Other One in his voice "I will show you to your quarters and I have no doubt Dearest Silence will have some exercises for you. I will come to retrieve you once an appropriate dinner has been prepared." he began walking.
Dr. Mayers made a note on his datapad and shot it off to Lieutenant Dirys Jorvan, the note also was a rather unnecessary reminder to perform a full psychiatric evaluation of the Commander as soon as could be managed.
Jorvan received the message and scowled, he deleted it, accessed the central computer, and deleted the other references the Doctor had made to Rhoden before heading down to meet with the man. On his way out the door he grabbed a small stack of credits--and a small injection in case the credits didn't work...

Re: A Thief in the City
Rhoden seems odd, he has on a silly smile and a part of his hair is sticking up. He turns to her and bids her to follow, saying Desade most likely has some exercises for her to practice. Mora looks at him with narrowed eyes, his voice is different, but she can't figure out how it's different. Not only is his voice different, his eyes have a different gleam in them that seems familiar. Mora's eyes widen as she realizes the gleam is the same one she sees in Desade's eyes, a kind of dangerous and crazy gleam.
Rhoden begins to walk out of the medical area with the same brisk pace he entered it in. Mora starts and runs to catch up with him.
"Are you okay, Rhoden?" She asks, "Ever since the last leg of the journey you seem a little off."
