First mission

Post by Kyrsha Heaken » Sat Dec 05, 2020 6:38 pm

OOC: I'm fairly new to rp, kinda nervous. Also sorry if there are misspelling of some words (my English isn't the best)

IC:
I remember when I got the acceptance letter, I couldn't believe it. A young female human going to the imperial academy.
Arriving at Corellia with the shuttle, other candidates and Kyshra get out.
Today will be my first training day at the academy. I'm hoping to become a imperial sniper or operative.
An operative walks to us, informing us where everything is and where we sleep. For now we get to settle in, soon my first training start.

"Kyshra Heaken" my attention drawn to the operative calling my name. Standing up I said "yes sir".
"you'll be going to Nar Shaddaa, there you'll be contacted by an associed of ours for your first mission. Your shuttle is waiting in the docking bay"
"yes sir"
Eager to begin and prove what she can do to her surperiors, Kyshra made her way to the shuttle, her first mission since she left the academy.

Arriving at Nar Shaddaa Kyshra went to the meeting point, where she'll meet the mysterious figur who had the details of her first mission.

Nar Shadda

Hutt Space

Being out of imperial territory, Prazutis once more donned the black cloak he used to Cover the Imperial insignias that usually shone on his armor. His droid pilot set the inconspicuous delta shuttle in a landing bay for the capital city, and Prazutis stepped into the crowd, going over the briefing he was given.

Tracking an Alliance ship that is filled with a load of Coaxium, and most likely escorted by more than a couple other ships. But, at the same time, Prazutis thought, perhaps igniting the coaxium could take out the entire fleet?

In any case, he still needed to find the fleet first. And according to imperial intelligence, an Alliance informant was spotted in the area he now resided.

“Also, Prazutis, we’d like to send an entourage for you. A trainee in the academy, we understand the... limits of your senses. Perhaps their perception with your own can come up with some success.”

Prazutis was annoyed that the top brass would even think he had limits to what he could do, though he still understood he wasn’t the most powerful being in the Galaxy, by far.

But, as he waited for this Entourage, black hood pulled over his spiked helmet and his imperial insignias covered by the black cloth, he could only think about what exactly the Empire truly thought of him.

Was it really so obvious when shipments of hyperfuel were making their way across the galaxy? Word traveled fast, and certainly there were those willing to pass along such information in exchange for a satchel of credits, but a shipment of coaxium causing such a stir seemed like nonsense to Buggie. Though it had been some time since he had been attached to a Galactic Alliance fleet-- long before they had abandoned him and the Verpine at Roche-- he remembered how many vessels typically formed an escort screen for a shipment of coaxium. Any sentient that thought they could capture a shipment of coaxium already on its way through the space lanes could be considered far worse than foolish.

All the same, on the dark amber-lit night of Nar Shaadaa, Buggie surmised that Black Sun, Crymorah, the Novas, the Red Keys, Kanjiklub, and the Guavians all had agents scouring the moon for the rumored Alliance informant. All of those crime syndicates, plus the obvious Hutts-- who had the advantage of not having to sneak around within their own territory-- were probably joined by the better equipped agents of the Sith and Galactic Empire in their respective searches. In all, it was a recipe for bloodshed, and Buggie had both heard of and seen a few lifeless bodies lining the shadowed alleyways.

On the other hand, Buggie mused, that's not necessarily uncommon here...

Even Buggie doubted that he was the only Blue Star agent on the Smugglers' Moon. As he attempted to distract himself from wondering just how many agents the Blue Star Pirates had originally sent to Nar Shaddaa to uncover the Alliance informant, he entered the cantina across the trash-lined boulevard. Ignoring the uncomfortable sensation of a hundred sets of eyes falling upon him for a brief moment-- weighing him, marking him, measuring if he was a threat-- Buggie worked his way through the standing patrons to the bar and shouldered in where he thought he could make space. If there was anywhere he could find information on this lawless moon, it would be in a cantina like this.

Provided that the Hutt enforcers hadn't found the informant first.

Looking around Keirsha a hooded figur lurking around. She learned that when meeting one another they should do so with discretion and be certain they're the right person. She had to admit to being a little bit nervous but she has to control herself.
Leaning against the wal, armed crossed she deceided to keep an eye on the hooded figure as wel as the others around her. A few other cought her eye but that hooded figur maybe he was it. She deceided to chance it, she tought of what the acadamy learned her. Who knows maybe it will work.
"this place is surely crowded, what the fus about this place anyway'
Silence, just silence maybe she was wrong. She doesn't want to fail her first mission.

Maybe it's better to go the cantina instead

Prazutis noticed the young female who spoke as he ensured he was at the meeting point, looking over her aura for just a moment to confirm her intent. She didn’t seem like the usual scum hiding on this planet from one group or another... he supposed she must have been the one.

Most people who ARE here have something to run from... but I suppose the two of us have quite the opposite ahead of us.

Prazutis briefly brushed his cloak back, exposing his armor’s chest piece and imperial insignia to her before continuing.

I assume you have word from our mutual friends about the informant?

Whether it was the word of mouth or some sort of data storage he could load into his communicator, Prazutis hoped this meeting could go quickly so that the both of them could get back into the air. Being in a shuttle, they had neither speed nor firepower to their advantage, but Prazutis had the force, and he believed that would do just fine.

Buggie had been working his way through the other patrons at the bar. While it was a certainty that some, if not most, were there for a drink, there had to have been at least a few who knew something or who were willing to earn a few credits from knowing someone who did. Buggie passed up information on a weapons deal, spice trade, and other black market transactions. It wasn't what he was after. Just as he was about to give up on this particular cantina, he turned toward the entrance and stopped.

Several varieties of sentients walked through the door, all clad in the same type of armor. The Hutts had been sweeping the area, and their enforcers were now clearing out the patrons of this cantina. Those who had learned not to protest walked out of the cantina immediately. The more inebriated or stubborn patrons remained in their seats, not looking at the enforcers as they took more proactive measures to clear out the area. They didn't seem to be simply emptying the cantina; the enforcers looked closely at every sentient that passed through the threshold on the way out. They were instead looking for someone in particular.

Buggie stepped away from the bar to filter out with everyone else. In the corner of the cantina, he noticed trouble brewing. A hulking Devaronian remained in his seat as an enforcer began pulling at him to leave. Whether it was drink or simply frustration at having his evening disturbed, the Devaronian decided-- unwisely-- to push back. He threw the enforcer across the cantina, and the resulting crash flipped a table where a group of equally muscular sentients remained. That caused them to push back against the enforcers, and now, within a matter of seconds, a full-on melee ensued between the enforcers and their clubs and the cantina patrons and their muscles. Buggie stepped backwards until his back hit the side of the bar. This wasn't something he wanted to get involved in.

That's when he saw a four-armed sentient catch a club to the jaw and stagger back. It took a few moments before the sentient regained their senses, but one of those arms reached back into the waist of their pants and drew a holdout blaster. The sentient pointed and fired at the nearest enforcer, who fell lifelessly to the floor. Everyone stopped for half a beat and in that time it became clear that the terms had been set. Sentients would die tonight.

Buggie ducked and began running for the back of the cantina as the whine of blasterfire began to fill space. A blaster bolt hammered the wall just above his head as he scrambled into the back of the building. Buggie raced out the door and into a dark alleyway. Looking to his left, he saw more enforcers storming into the cantina. If the Hutts had sent out patrols to find the informant, their search had only been an inconvenience to everyone else in the Nar Shaddaa slums. Now, the enforcers would step up their search and anyone on the streets was likely to be accosted. The night had become even more dangerous.

After her seeing his initials they went to a more secure place to talk.
Intel didn't give her much to work with other than the informant was on Nar Shaddaa. Asking around for them would rise suspision to them
"Maybe if we ask the hutts, I mean maybe they will be able to help but they may go after them theirself"
"Maybe we could slice their comms to hear if they have some info"
Keirsha looked around thinking on how they would find this informent when her attention was shifted to the noice comming from a nearby
cantina.
"it seems they're having some fun"

More enforcers where going in the cantina.
"you thnk they found him or are they just getting more desperate. If so we must find this informant with haste."

((OOC: Posting to keep this thread going. Neive is on the road it seems, so he can pop back in once he is free.))

Buggie rushed to the end of the alleyway once the coast was clear. He felt a dangerous presence before he ever saw it. Sure enough, his senses directed him to a cloaked armor-clad figure standing in the shadows across the boulevard. Buggie didn't recognize the presence beside the Inquisitor, but he knew enough to avoid continuing on in this direction. Masking his Force presence, Buggie ducked back into the shadows and headed down the other end of the alleyway.

As Buggie hustled down the dark space, he looked up at the buildings that towered over him. He couldn't see the night sky, as walkways, dim lights, and fire escapes crowded the overhead space. He could jump up and eventually get a vantage point of what was going on below, but he hardly had any leads to go off of and seeing the Hutt enforcers sweep from building to building would provide little assistance to him.

At the other end of the alleyway, Buggie peeked out, looking to his left. This avenue had been cleared out already, it seemed.

Just as Buggie stepped out into the amber light of a streetlamp, he heard a commanding voice order, "Stop right there."

Let me see...

Prazutis dipped his head a bit and reached out to the force through his senses. To his current companion, it seemed he was simply standing with his head low, but as he felt the auras around him, he was surely searching far faster than a normal brig ever could.

Everyone here is running from someone... but only one here is running from everyone.

A glimpse of a man gripped with fear, headed towards a spaceport, trying not to be seen by anyone... he was much more afraid than anyone else here.

Prazutis was about to move when he then felt another presence... one more familiar, and light, harmonized to the force...

Quickly, he looked up to greet the presence with his helmet’s eyeglasses, but by the time he looked that way, it was gone...

We need to move, now. I found him.” Prazutis said, nodding towards the nearby spaceport as he walked towards it, expecting the recruit to follow

Not knowing how her surperior came to knew the info they needed on their suspect, she followed him.
She wasn't going to ask him as their primary goal was to locate and obtain info.
Looking around seeing the enforces entering and then exciting the buildings made them look desperate in some way.

Once inside the spacesport Kyrsha and her ally could see that there were a lot of creatures.
Scanning the halls for anyone being more suspicious then the rest of them.
"Do you have a clue on which one"
She noticed a particular person more desperate then the others around him
"could that be him, looking in the direction of a Rodian, he surely looks more desperate tham others."

In the cornor of her eye she noticed enforces entering the spaceport. If they wanted the info they have to move fast before they or anyone else found the informant.
