Hi all! Y'all can call me Theros or Aera OOC, I'm definitely excited to start RPing with all of you.
I'm no stranger to text based roleplay, and have been an RPer in numerous MMOs, forums, LARPs, and tabletops. The character I'm actually hoping to use with you all is a character I love very much, and have played in a tabletop game, a LARP, and SWTOR. His name is Aerathos, and, in more developed incarnations, is a Sith Sorcerer. He is a member of a species called Anzat. If you all are unfamiliar with this race, I'll give y'all a TL;DR so you don't have to read the whole wiki. Basically, Anzats are extremely long-lived, humanoid, sentient beings. They look very similar to humans, except their skin is slightly grayed, and they have larger noses. These noses hide two proboscises that, when extended, shoot up the nostrils of other sentient species, liquefy their brains, and are sucked through these tendrils as a means of food for the Anzat. They're commonly called Snot Vampires, but that's a derogatory term, which isn't wise to use around one. They reach maturity around the age of 100, and can live to be over a thousand, so long as they always have access to brain matter, also called soup or luck. They do, however, become more senile with age, and older Anzati can be quite crazy. Since Anzats are supposed to have their own language, but there isn't a translator for it, I use a language from a different fantasy game. If your character learns Anzati, which is very difficult as it can only be taught by a native speaker, and there are only about a million Anzats in the entire galaxy, I'll send you the link to the site in a PM.
Aerathos is an Anzat that's just barely reached maturity, and is about 110 years old. He is cold, calculating, sadistic, arrogant, wise, and cunning. I'm sorry if he comes off as a tool, I promise it's just the character! His personality is a necessity, to be honest. He is a predator, and his prey are other sentient species. It would be hard to be that kind of individual if one were compassionate. However, once he respects someone, he will treat them as at least an equal, if not defer to them. He's a great character, and I'm very excited for you all to get to know him and watch him develop in this context.
If you have any questions for me, I'd love to answer them, or please let me know if I'm doing anything wrong. There's no such thing as being a perfect RPer, so we always have room for improvement! If I need improvement, let me know!

Hi, welcome to Sithlore. I'm Buggie, Jedi Master and Force Moderator here.
One thing to be aware of here on Sithlore is that we have a Force system through which your character gains abilities. What you are asked to do is submit Force applications on a monthly basis where you apply for your abilities. You have a Force level, and separate levels for Control, Sense, and Alter facets of the Force. Check out the link below for a brief description of the word requirements as they relate to the Force system. There's a bit of a learning curve, but you'll get the hang of it if you're an experienced roleplayer.

Re: A Legacy of Fear
UPDATE: AERATHOS IS NOW AERALYNN. Everything else is the same, I've just decided that the character might be a bit more interesting as a female as opposed to a male.
She is still an Anzat, she still has the same personality, there's really nothing different about her, except she's a she and not a he.

I'm dumb. Aeralyss. I'm sorry, I was talking to a friend named Lynn when I was typing.

Love an Ansat! Such an underrated creature of the night. Looking forward to avoiding your snot-tendrils!
