Howdy-Loha and Guten Evening!
In my search for a quality Character-Progression practice and vicarious-living platform I have found this lovely little site and decided to Grace it with my IP address!

I am an experienced role-player, having written in no fewer than 4 other forums and a great many 1x1 threads, sat around tables, bleachers, busses and floors for mind-theater RPG's, run around neighborhoods, parks, woods and ruins in LARP sessions with varying degrees of competition, complexity and goals, and spent more hours than I could reasonably justify staring into the middle-distance on flights of fancy.

TL;DR:
I'm an avid storyteller and real-life bard with designs on becoming a novelist, but there has been a special place in my heart for Star Wars ever since my grandfather handed me a trio of vhs tapes by way of babysitting.

Now then, I suppose you're all wondering when I'll stop babbling and get to my character idea. Well, that's too bad, because blahblahblahblah wompwoompwomwaamp pthbhbhbhbh!

Aaaaanywhom...

I came up with an idea for an aspiring Jedi Padawan who's naturally a really passionate Empath, but has grown up as a fighter due to circumstances beyond her control. I kinda wanted her to be a mutt of Zabrak and Zeltron, but wasn't sure how you guys feel about crossbreeds on this site so I went ahead and wrote her as a Zabrak, because they're slightly more interesting to me. If the interracial alloy (killer album name) is allowed though, I definitely want to do that, but I could totally just chalk her temperament up to a natural Empathic connection to the Force.

I do realize the potential for Dark Side temptation with that whole bit, and while i'm not necessarily interested in doing an outright "fall and redemption" arc, I do want to incorporate the inherant struggle of coming to terms with the volatile nature of the Living Force and the Universe as a whole (with some slips, twists, shocks and setbacks) through the lens of a nacent Jedi.

The ultimate goal of that whole schtick is to eventually (at Master level) make her into a sort of Shamanic Healer of Mind and Spirit, but only after a career as a Warrior, if that makes sense.

I have already made my first post in the Docking Bay titled "Ardor and Angst" for someone in cahoots with the Jedi to bring my character into the Coalition. And as for backstory; I have a pretty decent idea about it, but I prefer to reveal that sort of information in-character.

In conclusion; I hope to spend a shamefully glorious and thuroughly enjoyable time among you all, my fellow nerds!

I play a Sith Lord who didn't fall to the dark side, he embraced it and dove right in lol. SL needs more Jedi but that won't stop my character from trying to corrupt yours if and when our paths meet
