Zechs floated in the magical world of his fighter, ignoring everyone and everything until the word was given. The flower resting on his dashboard tickled his nose with the remains of its pollen. He wasn’t sure who had put it there. It might have been that Jedi’s Aunt. It might have been he. He didn’t know.

Tick. Tock. Tick. Time inches closer to doing more of nothing. Troubling sights were old news. Good old system checks got, well, old. So he waited instead. The one time he didn’t bring a book was the one time he could use one. It figured.

He waited in his starfighter, checking the instruments, verifying that his weapons systems were powered up and ready at a moment’s notice. He checked his navicomputer and it spat back Circarpous system. He saw no convoy as of yet, but he had felt a nudge from the darkside. As if he needed to be here, if he was to intercept this convoy without the assistance of the pack, then he was mad. He was mad, angry, furious and yes crazy at times. He welcomed a challenge. But he also felt like he was going on a suicidal run. He would have to be careful and ready to retreat at a moment’s notice. Furthermore his Long Range sensors had detected ships, he was not going to be the first one to attack. He would join in but he wasn’t going to start it.

Bloody Hell we doing here” chimmed KL-PK1 he often referred to as Karl. Truth is he didn’t know

Shut your hole droid” he barked “Do your job and maybe I wont do a memory dump” surprisingly this shut the droid right up.

Time to wait…..

Blood hadn't exactly had fortune on the aspect of raiding. And as much as the arrogance in him screamed that raiding was for the peasants and pirates, the businessman scoundrel within him knew some projects of currency or material were not easily purchased. The Draconian also knew sometimes you simply had to take what you wanted. He was coming to terms with what he needed to do to establish his authority- just taking what he wanted, and leaving less than a thank you across the tip of his blades to grace the coils of his enemies. He had learned, and as painful as the lesson was to his pride Colton had made sure he learned how quickly a cordial meeting could turn on it's heels.
He wouldn't forget that.

Blood was side by side of Warvanus, if not ever so slightly behind him. The Sith Lord knew his accomplice in the hunt was craving the retribution for last moon's fail of harvest; if not by bounty, then by blood. Either someone was dying for this cargo, or cargo was going home with them. Whichever one came first,...

Blood came to terms with the disasters that would come to court them.

Within the confines of the simulator, he played the same level he had prior with Lidmor, yet further down the level. Just as he had bypassed the security of a pair of TIE's view, the Infiltrator became visible and launched a stealth attack on the nearest. It was then Valkyr informed him that they neared their actual targets, and after saving and pausing the simulation, Blood stood tall in his own actual Infiltrator, his mind refreshed by the exercise.

He was ready for blood, retribution, revenge. Either the resources would come with the Sith, or they would be destroyed for if they could not possess them, then nobody would and Warvanus would make certain of that. He was tiring of waiting, as he could feel his patience slip, his sensors picked up another ship the sensors recognized it as Lord Blood’s ship, at the realization he was not going to be soloing this venture he broke out into a small smile. He hit the button to comm. Him, secure channel.

Its awfully good to see you M’lord

Now they had a real good chance of success at least in the mind of the Sith Warrior. He kept an eye on his instruments ready, hungering for the blood of his enemies. Soon it would be go time.

((OOC: I'll play along for the fun of it...))

Buggie and Storm listened to the chatter coming across an encrypted channel that the convoy had agreed to utilize only if they suspected a security breach. Evidently, an escort had pulled up next to the convoy and had transmitted old codes, which had raised someone's suspicions. While normally that would be warranted, Buggie did recall that this particular convoy did come to fruition in an unusual manner. Outland had received information on the swamp gas order, but days after, a notification had come across that the job was in doubt and that available parties should stand by for further update. Eventually, whatever caused that hiccup had been corrected, since the Outland group of transports was now very much so hauling two transports full of the resource, but it was not out of the realm of possibility for the escort to have been originally given codes that had since aged to near-expiration in the confusion.

Furthermore, Buggie had detected no duplicity in the message that the pilot had transmitted. Buggie hadn't necessarily been focused on what the pilot was saying, but if he meant any harm to the convoy, the Force had not made it apparent.

"Convoy leader, this is Outland 02," Buggie transmitted over the encrypted channel, "You may want to exercise caution in giving our escort bad information. Our route through Exodeen takes us awfully close to the Tinnel salient. I'm not sure if you've been watching the HoloNet, but there's a travel advisory for all surrounding sectors. An extra fighter watching our backs could be beneficial."

Several Sith vessels were already moving in to intercept the vulnerable convoy. Escort was minimal. Seemed that the situation was on a life's edge in terms of balancing the power. For a while he debated even messing with the enemy fleet. Was it truthfully worth his time? Clearly, no. But in his heart the fire of his rage was but barely lit coals - he needed something to stoke it. What better than the fire if combat?

Pressing the throttle up to full speed he soared in from a high elevation with his Infiltrator of the flanks. Soon they'd join the melee, soon they would all remember.

He had Lord Blood with him, their chances improved , and as he waited. He felt a tremor in the Force. He had not felt it in a very long time, not since he was early into his training. He recognized it at once. It was the one that he searched for and almost died as a result, the one who had abandoned him so early in his training. He had heard rumors that he was back but now he could feel it in the Force.

Darth Tormentous

Now he felt that their chances now were even better. However it aroused many emotions in the Sith. Most of them were not positive. He took a deep breath and mentally suppressed them, shoving them aside as so it would not distract him from his mission. Right now they needed all the help they could get.

The Sith needed these resources, resources to repair the stagnation they endured under the former Dark Lord who now was in their vicinity, if for one thing to say it would be interesting to say the least.

Neive set the coordinates to all the ships, and the fake ones to the rogue fighter, switching back to the encrypted comm. "Understood. But being this fsr in friendly territory, I would rather be on the safe side. Coordinstes in, making the second jump now." With that, Neive's transport and headhunter shot to the next destination, while his other ship went to the false coordinates in order to sell the fake to the rogue fighter.

Zechs followed along. Escorting wasn't as exciting as it used to be. Weirdoes showed up. Pews were pewed. It used to be the good old days. Those days were long gone. It was now just a lot of paperwork.

They made the jump. It wouldn't be the longest run ever, but it'd be a run. All he could do now was sing.

"I am the very model of a modern Major-General
I've information vegetable, animal, and mineral
I know the queens of Naboo, and I quote the fights historical
From Coruscant to Etti IV, in order categorical
I'm very well acquainted, too, with matters mathematical
I understand equations, both the simple and quadratical
About binomial theorem I am teeming with a lot o' news
With many cheerful facts about the square of the hypotenuse..."
