Baron watched as the Tie-A shot past leaving him to take the StarViper. With a click of several switches he launch his first salvo of missiles before pushing to full throttle. He shot by leaving the missiles to do their job. The Tie-D turned and and made to follow the Tie-A and assist in going after the other enemy vessels.
The ATR kept its distance and turned its turbolasers to fire upon the heavy freighter. The large weapons began unleashing a volley of red energy across the darkness of space to the Action V. Meanwhile the gunners began tracking the enemy fighters and unleashing the twin ion cannons and medium lasers upon the enemy from a distance.

All the time that Buggie had spent in the flight simulator prior to this skirmish was likely what separated his survival from an explosive death. That, and the aid of the Force to steady his hands and sharpen his instincts. With a TIE Defender now engaging him, he would need to rely on every advantage that he had available to him. As Buggie's starfighter closed the gap between he and the TIE Defender, Buggie ruddered hard and peeled to the left just as he came into range of the Defender's laser cannons. That maneuver avoided the grief of running into a burst of ion cannon fire from the starfighter, and as Buggie spiraled into a dive, a friendly YT-2000 briefly crossed through the path between he and the pursuing TIE Defender, breaking the sight of the enemy craft for only a moment, as the pilot no doubt had to turn his attention to the dorsal turrets on the light freighter.
That small fortune of a distraction allowed Buggie to wheel his craft around and fire off a small salvo of laser cannon fire at the ball cockpit of the TIE Defender, but what damage he could have caused was ineffective and glancing, since now Buggie had picked up another tail; an Imperial TIE Avenger. Cursing that he couldn't take more of an advantage of the TIE Defender's notoriously prohibitive viewing angles, he skittered away. As his craft's shields took a thumping from the Avenger, Buggie continued evasive maneuvers, hoping that one of his allies could help shake off the new pursuer, or that the YT-2000's turrets could at least turn their attention to the enemy for a moment.
"I'm getting a lot of attention over here!" Buggie called to the rest of the convoy over the comms.

Perfect, two TIE starcraft were assaulting the big guns for now. Solle continued to attack the vassal with his TIE-Avenger, he began locking on the enemy ship. He knew that the ship would start making sharp maneuvers and performing whatever it can to avoid more damage from Solle and his partner pilot. Solle began moving his ship to further avoid the incoming fire from the enemy vassal "Let's see what happens if I provoke you more." Solle smiled, he began moving his targeting computer cursor above the enemy vassal ship as if he were to lead it. He shot 1 of his warheads at the enemy vassal with the current "locking" on, appearing as if the TIE-Avenger had randomly shot a missile without properly locking it. After shooting his warhead, he began to maneuver his way out from the incoming fire from the vassal, diving under the ship once more only to.. move away from the enemy ship?
He kept flying down from the fight only once he gained from distance from the enemy vassal. He quickly moved the TIE-Avenger upwards, readying his Ion weapons once again, this time, he was actually "locking" onto the enemy vassal from down below it, once he felt that he was ready Solle unleashed a barrage of Ion blasts from the TIE-Avenger. He ceased firing once he was getting closer to it, easing off from overheating the weaponry. He flew around the targeted ship, acting as an annoying pest for people to begin attacking at.
