Stavros turned to the pirate on the deck and stood him up. "Where is your captain?" Seeing the fear in the pirate's eyes, he smiled at him. "Don't worry. I don't bite."

((OOC: I guess Neive isn't posting and I don't want Stav to go inactive on us, so I'm jumping back in.))

"I'm right here, and just who in the seven Corellian hells are you lot?" a burly sentient replied, his double-barreled blaster already drawn, as he seemed to be contemplating which intruder to shoot first.

The captain had gone out to run an errand, and had come back to Lombar larking up another job. He had half a mind to blast the Weequay just to get him out of his metaphorical hair. The Pirate Code of course forbade such an action-- still, he wasn't ruling anything out at this moment.

(OOC: I was just waiting for a reply.)(IC) Stavros looked at the captain, realizing that it would take some serious convincing. "So, you are the captain? I must commend your taste in ship layout and design. It all seems very logical, except for the placement of the starboard blasters. If I were you, I'd move some from the side of the deck into the lower level, that way you can have the element of surprise."

(OOC: my apologies, there wasn’t much I could do without a reaction from the pirates.)
Prazutis stood silent, releasing the grip on the man’s throat once more as he looked at the blaster wielding captain in front of him, thinking to himself as he reached out with the force once more. He didn’t need to be concentrating on the blaster if he got into conflict with the man, Prazutis thought, so he would have to render the weapon completely useless.
Prazutis narrowed his eyes without moving and focused on the blaster in the captain’s hands. Within the designed metal, the wires that projected the laser bolt from the barrel, the power cell that generated the energy that went into the projectile... Prazutis could quickly end the possibility of him or the herglic being harmed.
Moving his fingers together, Prazutis gripped the wires within the blaster that lead to the power cell, pulling them from the cell itself until the gun slightly sparked within, the connection to the power of the blaster cut.
“Perhaps you can help me?” Prazutis asked, slowly stepping forward with the blaster now useless to its holder.
“Do you know of a Verpine within your group? Possibly... force sensitive?”
Prazutis held himself back from fully taking the man down on the spot, but being in Alliance territory, he didn’t need any attention on him that wasn’t necessary for his goal.
As Prazutis passed the Herglic, towards the pirate, his cloak flew in the breeze for just a moment, his imperial insignia that shown on his shoulder pauldron revealed itself to the herglic for just a moment before Prazutis gripped the cloth within the force, pulling it back without making it obvious he was trying to hide it.

Stavros looked at the emblem and realized why he was asking about the force-sensitive Verpine. He glared at the Zabrak for not telling him before-hand. 'Great. Now I'm associated with Imperial scum.'

He looked at the Captain. "So, what model ship is this?" He looked at his surroundings, trying to find an escape route if possible. Unfortunately, he couldn't find one. 'Well, looks like I need to pull out my best diplomacy game yet...'

(OOC: Just so this board doesn't go dead.) (IC) "Or maybe, how many crew members do you have on this ship, approximately?" Stavros looked at the floor, and counted about 3 decks. "I'd imagine you could fit quite a good number of sentients on board, eh?" He looked at the sky, which was a brilliant blue. As he looked at the horizon, he saw some darker clouds. "Looks like rain, doesn't it?"
