Dot followed the Lieutenant and observed Colher's invitation. "Tell me that was a joke, please, shoot me if he wasn't joking." Jorvan said as the man's rather lame dinner invitation came through. "We'll just say it was a joke, it worked, anyways." Rhoden said pinching the bridge of his nose. The droid skimmed along after them, easily concealed, and observed their dinner. As they left the restaurant Rhoden received a ping indicating that Desade was in position.

The trip back to the apartments passed without issue and Colher proceeded to follow Lieutenant Clarys into her bedroom. She began getting undressed. "Whoa-k." he said, cutting the feed from the contacts Colher wore. "Dot, cut the feed--just ping us if something goes wrong, or Desade, I don't care." he said. Dot replied with his nearest approximation of a kiss and cut the feeds. "Mr. Harheats is being well rewarded for his efforts." Jorvan said seriously. "Shut up." Jorvan broke down into laughter as Rhoden set his feet up, he fell asleep shortly after.

There was a beep and Rhoden jerked awake, his preset alarm had gone off. He smiled and knocked on Jorvan's helmet. "Stay here and keep up with things, I'm heading down to the apartment." Rhoden said, Jorvan looked at him but said nothing. Rhoden entered the adjoining room where Colher had found his own change of clothes the previous day, a quickly converted closet to be sure, but in the middle of the night a Shadowguard had slipped in and prepared Rhoden's attire. He removed his uniform and quickly pulled on padded pants and top, belt, and various straps. The black cloth was the light attire of the Carbine Shadowguard--typically used on lower profile assassination missions or as a type of dress uniform. The clothing was padded, black as per the usual, and contained many locations for weapons hidden or otherwise. Completing the set was a hood, and two cloak pieces which could be removed as necessary, one wrapping around the belt to encompass the legs except for the front, and one which wrapped around the neck and draped down to the ankle. There was also a mask to be pulled over the mouth and nose, hiding the face. Rhoden left the facility unseen.

"Can I help you, sir?" the clerk asked as Rhoden entered, having given only a minor start from his unexpected appearance--seemingly fazing out of the shadows. "I will see Harper Clarys." he said, he knew the man was a watcher, that he was guilty. The game was but to stall him. He blinked a few times but reached discreetly behind the desk, "I'm afraid she's not to be disturbed." he said, he made a quick motion but Rhoden's hand flashed up, summoning a blade from an unseen location and the man fell dead splattering blood over the desk and wall. His blaster clattered away, "Not triggering an alarm? Fool." he said, stepping around the desk and into the lift, he received only a gurgle in reply.

Colher's report came over the comm and Rhoden immediately called Desade, "Move in, evidence has been found, deal with the Lieutenant." he said. The lift doors slid open and Rhoden carved the throat from another guard. He stepped forward quickly and grabbed the head of the third and final guard in the building as he stepped out of a small room. He squeezed, the man ceased reaching for his weapons and scrabbled at Rhoden's arms staring into the Imperial's cold blue eyes. There was an ominous crunching sound which intensified and the man's skull collapsed in on itself. "We'll need cleaup, Jorvan." he said into his comm without emotion, as though he had not just slaughtered three men. "Done." came the reply.

Rhoden would wait, if the Lieutenant somehow escaped Desade she would not find sanctuary outside.

There was a soft purr as she felt the joining of two people just beneath where she rested for the night, a bulwark to the cold night air.

"That is the fun I was thinking of, Commander..." she purred, and waited. She didn't sleep, just laid there, perched all night, and as day came, she felt movement again. She came up to her feet, crouched on the edge of the building as she waited... and waited... and waited. Then came Rhoden's command, she toyed with not following it, she was no slave to the Empire, she was not bound by their hierarchy, but Rhoden was blessed with the minute knowledge of Silence. Argus trusted him, in his way. So she listened.

She let herself fall forward, off the building, hands gripping the ledge, as her legs uncoiled beneath her. The window was open to let in some fresh air, which also let in a demon, in the flesh. She entered the room, feet first, facing away from the rest of the room. She reached out, and touched upon the forms of those in the room. Two figures, no alert... she spun the blade about in her hand, and turned about, she saw movement as she plunged the knife down. A blaster, kept underneath the pillow, she was good at what she did too, it seemed. A clawed hand clamped down on the Lieutenant's shoulder, digging in and forcing the arm to stay in place, drawing out a long, agonizing scream, silenced as the knife lunged forward-- she twisted the blade at the last moment to avoid her jugular, instead plunging the blade down, into her breast, straight down into her heart.

"This is a nice dress, don't want to paint it with your blood, lucky you, a quicker death than Silence usually grants," she said. Pulling the blade free from the woman, she turned her gaze toward Colher, bringing the knife up, to her lips- her tongue running slowly along the blood soaked blade. "Oh, Commander," she breathed, "The Lieutenant has been dealt with..." she purred out.

Rhoden keyed the door open and walked in, "Very good." he said, looking at her as she licked her blade. An unusual practice, but Rhoden remained indifferent to it. He turned his gaze to Colher, observing his face for the reaction.

"Unfortunately the rest of your potential victims have already been dealt with." he said, nodding to Desade. "Not that they were particularly troublesome prey."

Colher stood in the livingroom, the lieutenants cold dead body was laying on the floor of her bedroom. Colher was talking with Desade who had killed the lieutenant and he was talking with commander Carbine. ''I hope that I have completed the mission as you wanted to Sir.'' He said while giving the datacard to the commander on which the evidence of the lieutenants crimes where stored. ''How are we going to proceed Sir?'' Colher asked.

She had been half tempted to slip the knife between the older man's jugular as well, when Rhoden showed up, and her stance relaxed a bit, she was already pacing like a caged animal, ready, waiting. Then she sighed.

"You people bore Silence," she said, her tone a bit on the annoyed side, her gaze flicking up to take in Rhoden once more, then wiped the rest of the blood from her knife, on a clean portion of the dead Lieutenant's nightshirt. Turning, she made her way back to the window, placing her hands on the sill. "Commander, the Grand Admiral and I will meet with Inferno squad in two days, perhaps that'll prove more exciting then what you can offer me here," she said, then leaped out the window, one hand catching the top, so she didn't soar too far. Causing her to swing back toward the building, feet hitting the wall, she released the window, letting herself fall backwards about five feet, down the wall, where she grabbed onto the flagpole that flew the Imperial colors.

She swung around it once, then curled into a ball, she hit the ground in a roll, and uncurled, leaping from the ball, landing on her feet, where she began to walk away, unhooking her shoes, she dropped them in front of her, stepping into them, showing off her shapely legs as a few people passed her, stopping to look, she glanced up at one man who got too close-- and smiled seductively, offering him a wink. The man, emboldened, moved to approach and talk with her. But she was already making her way into a darkened alley, when the man entered, having just seen her minutes ago- she was gone.

Rhoden watched her go, keeping his eyes on the window until Dot beeped confirmation of her departure and flew through the window. His comm clicked, "Cleanup on the way." Rhoden nodded and gestured for Colher to follow him.

"Now we return to the base, and I send you along to someone and see about getting you a position." Rhoden said. They walked past the bodies on the top floor, laying in a collective pool of blood, one's head crushed. Rhoden had not had occasion to use his less heavy attire for some time, it was refreshing.

"Yes Sir" Colher said while leaving the apartment and returning to the Imperial base. Colher was wondering how he would continue and who the was going to bring to talk about him getting a position in the Empire, Colher was ready to finally serve the Empire as best he could. With these thoughts on his mind he reached the Imperial base. Upon walking to the entrance he realised that he wasn't an Imperial yet, he was also reminded of this fact by the trooper guarding the entrance. "This building is only for Imperial personnel" said the trooper. Because of this Colher had to wait for Commander Carbine to arrive so he waited outside of the base hoping the Commander would show up quickly.

Rhoden gestured to the guards and they let the duo past, they walked up to his office and Rhoden reclaimed his chair, shooing Jorvan over to a corner and ignoring the quiet muttering as he did so. He pressed a button on his desk and input a querry--it appeared he was in luck, for Doren was indeed on-site. He pressed a button on his desk.

"Please contact Captain Vassyl and inform him I request his presence in my office immediately." he said, "Aye, sir." the reply came, followed immediately by a click. Rhoden nodded to himself, "Captain Vassyl will perform his own evaluation of you, of course, but thing's will proceed quickly I imagine."

"I hope so Sir" Colher said. He was wondering who this captain was and if he would get a rank in the Empire. He only had to wait for the captain to arrive to know to answer

Rhoden heard a beep from the door, "Enter." he said. The door slid open to reveal the Captain. "Ah, good. Please, sit down." Rhoden said. He gestured to Colher.

"Captain Vassyl, this is Mr. Colher Harheats. He's a bit further along in his years than most recruits, but his record gives me hope." Rhoden said, "I was wondering if we might see about getting him a position."
