Re: Silvanius
Kita momentarily panicked as her attacks missed him completely. She thought for sure she would get at least one strike in. But no. He dodged them with ease like it was nothing more then a leaf in the breeze. This didn't fare well in Kita's mind. She needed that gem.
It took seconds for her opponent to use the force against her. Suddenly she felt herself being swept, pushed up against the wall of the old ship and held there. Similar to what Jacobi had done to her with a pillar. Struggling to move, she glared at him in anger. The new apprentice knew she couldn't do anything more and after a few minutes or so she went slack and scowled at him instead in defeat. She was pissed. "Ok. You beat me. Happy now!?"

Re: Silvanius
He approached closer to her as she was pinned against the wall. He was silent for a bit before he spoke. As if he came to a decision.
”Happy?” He began ”In a sense yes, quite, but not for the reason you may think, The Emperor values Force sensitives and if he has taken you as an apprentice then you have some worth. I am also his apprentice for I never stop learning especially when it is the Emperor who teaches.” He looked in her in the eye and could feel the anger in her.
”So full of anger, so much untapped power, I know if you return to him without the amulet he will most likely destroy you, and if you were a lesser apprentice we would not be talking I would have destroyed you outright, and had I met you first I would have most likely taken you on as my own apprentice. You have potential, more than I have seen in a long time.” He withdrew the amulet itself from his satchel “Take the amulet back to your Master, consider it an investment in your future, He won’t destroy you if you bring him this” With that he took the amulet itself out, which was the Massassi skull with an empty place setting for where the gemstone belonged.
With that, he began to walk away until he was out of sight, when she could no longer see him, he reapplied the Force Mask technique (Force Mask) and released her from the telekinetic pin to the wall. He needed to have a discussion with his Master about the wreckage.

Kita continued to glare at him as he continued.

It was scary ro think Tormentous would kill her just for not bringing a amulet to him. She knew there was a good reason she didn't want to fail her mission, but had held back the thought from coming forth. However...she in a way had indeed failed whether she obtained the amulet or not. Why? Because she hadn't won the fight. To her this was not a win in her mind. But a loss. A act of pity in a sense. The look of confusion crossed her facial features as he brought up how he hadn't seen anyone with a good amount of potential in a long time. Her blue gaze watched as he pulled out the amulet and set it on the ground.
"Take the amulet back to your Master, consider it an investment in your future, He won’t destroy you if you bring him this."
She watched as he began walking away from sight. Once gone, she felt his presence disappear as quickly as it had come and fell to the ground landing on her feet. "What...happened...? Did he really just give me the amulet?" She muttered quietly. Glancing downwards, she saw the skull that was left nearby. Reluctantly she picked up the skull tucking it under her arm and began her trek back outside with her staff's electric light guiding her in the darkness. Approaching the skiff, she placed the amulet down on the deck before climbing up. Walking over to the navigation system, she entered the coordinates and let it take her back towards Tormentous citadel.
During the 3 hour trip, she had been sitting staring at the amulet in her hands. "I thought this would be...smaller..." It's empty eye sockets seemed to gaze at her despite it held no life in it. Almost as if it was scolding her for disturbing it's peace.
Looking away, she could see her master's residence in the distance and quickly prepared herself to depart. She had forgotten to drink water while on her trip since her mind had been occupied with the mission given to her. Kita started wondering if her master really would have destroyed her for not obtaining the amulet. No doubt it was possibly true...but she didn't want to believe it...

Re: Silvanius
Darth Warvanus had returned to the Citadel after a long trip, but it had only been a couple of hours at most, but it was without incident. He had stepped through the halls nobody offering resistance to him as he went deeper in the Emperor’s sanctuary. The moment he had stepped back inside he dropped the Force Mask technique. His boots echoed until he reached the Emperor’s Throne room. There the guards bowed their heads and admitted him to the Emperor’s throne. His footsteps echoed as he approached the Emperor’s throne.
Once he was at the foot of it, he knelt before his Emperor “My master” he said with a tone of reverence once baden to rise he would rise and take his place.

Jumping off the ship, Kita held the amulet in the crook of her arm and walked through the courtyard, the ship already being taken away by a nearby slave. Of course since she was the Sith Lords new apprentice, she had no one stop her as she walked through the corridors of his citadel.
She knocked first to let her presence known even though Tormentous could sense her and walked in. "I'm back master." She hadn't even had a chance to bow respectfully in his presence as her eyes settled on the other Sith apprentice kneeling before him. "How!? How did you get here so fast?!?!?" She asked seriously. She tried figuring out exactly how Warvanus could have beaten her here through the wasteland without a ship.

Re: Silvanius
“Rise, Darth Warvanus.” Exclaimed the Dark Lord and once done the War-Bringer moved to the right side of the great throne of skulls. Since Warvanus’ Force signature had appeared the Dark One had tracked him subconsciously, the beacon of power that was the Right Hand was incapable of remaining in the darkness for too long and so Tormentous visualized the progress of his Warrior King and when he arrived the Darth was unsurprised to feel that Warvanus had much more to his presence here than what met the eye. There was much to do and discuss though as Warvanus came to a halt it was the entrance of Kita Ikari that stole Tormentous’ eye as the firelight of the hearth caught her blonde hair just right and it glistened like the sun.
He failed to lose his composure however and remained as the Dark Lord’s dignity begat him and so the Dark One did not miss a beat. He had sense her presence from whence she had come all the way at the Malevolent to here and he was pleased that she had not died during the journey.
Spotting the skull trapped in the crook of her elbow he nodded in affirmation of her achievements and he motioned for her to approach and deliver the trophy. Once in his hands he turned it to face him expecting to see the amulet with the gemstone in the golden setting - he did not. The setting was empty. His left eye pulsed with outrage and fury, it glowed with intensity as he very slowly lifted his gaze from the artifact and settle his sights right on Kita. She was about to wish that Warvanus had slain her back there on the wrecked warship.
Setting the skull down as he rose to his full height his right hand began to emitted an absolutely terrifying essence of the deepest red ethereal fire that played across his wrist and forearm. It grew exponentially in size - and its inglorious power swelled to unimaginable heights. (Force Destruction). In an instant Kita was soon to know exactly what oblivion was and how horrendous it felt. With the flick of his wrist he could banish her to every hell known to existence and leave no trace of what was once Kita. Every atom of her flesh and bone body would vaporize in the blink of an eye. So was his rage that he could little contain it and his gauntlet’s finger joints began to fuse together.
“I am not entertained, Acolyte! The artifact is useless without the gemstone. Without this artifact the tribes of the Massassi cannot be controlled as is a necessity for their people to unite behind. Without the Massassi the Sith as a whole lose an unfathomable resource. Do you realize what you’ve done in your failure!” His question was rhetorical obviously as his absolute rage destroyed his composure. “Without the Massassi, we must conscript soldiers in a way that the Sith Army cannot afford in means of time to train new assets to credit value.”
He stepped menacingly forward and extended his hand, palm outwards. This failure required recompense.
His fist balled up in denial. A great pain swelled in his wrist and he curled his attacking power inwards as if he was flexing his arm. Stress wracked his body and Darth Tormentous could not deny the fact that that damn Mandalorian was willing to fight tooth and nail to preserve Kita. Then Tormentous had a moment to distract himself from Kita’s failure and focus his mind. He reminded himself that keeping her alive would benefit him far more than her current termination. Releasing a growl of frustration he slung out his hand to the far right and unleashed hell.
A ball of pure Dark Side power was cast from his hand and it roiled through the throne room and right into one of the eight pillars. The destructive ball annihilated many meters of solid stone like it wasn’t but paper and the entire pillar crumbled inward as if it was being eaten by something corrosive. Passing through the pillar the ball of destruction moved beyond and carved into the floor where it exploded in a terrifying detonation that tossed debris in all directions and when all was said and done the residual essence of the destruction’s passing gnawed at all those who were sensitive to the Force’s call. A drawing sound of the unnatural energies colliding upon their release with the natural currents of the Force itself. It was an abomination made manifest and a small representation of Darth Tormentous’ unyielding fury.
He looked back to Kita and pointed at her menacingly. “You will return to that damn wreck and retrieve that gemstone or you shall not return at all!”
(Telepathy) ‘Kita, be strong.’ She wasn’t yet trained in the art of telepathy and the entire message may very well have been lost. But she would feel Wylcott reaching out to her and reassuring her that despite the wrath of the most dangerous man in the galaxy - he still had her back.

Re: Silvanius
Warvanus took his place to the right of the Emperor and watched passively as the events unfolded before him. He would not speak out to correct him. Not in the presence of his Acolyte. To do so would invite his own death by the Emperor’s own hand. He spoke to the Emperor’s mind through the Force (Telepathy)
“Master, I have the other piece of the amulet it is part of the reason on why I have come”
He then withdrew the rest of the amulet and held it in his hand. He continued his telepathic message in hopes of staying the Emperor’s justice.
“Your apprentice challenged me for it, I spared her”
He knew the Emperor would demand an explanation but his mind was always open to the Emperor, he hid nothing from him nor would he try. If he read into Warvanus’ mind he would see the confrontation, as well as Warvanus searching the wreck for something, but instead finding the amulet. He would also hear the thoughts on Warvanus’ opinion and apraisal of her potential and it would become clear on why the Emperor’s Hand spared her. He would also sense Warvanus had more reasons for his presence here.
As the Pillar exploded he could sense something strange from the Emperor (Sense Force Disturbance) it was a disturbance in the Force but he could not pinpoint the nature or the cause or anything that something was amiss. But he would not voice anything not while his apprentice was among them.

Re: Silvanius
There was no answer to her question as Warvanus got up to stand alongside the Sith Lord. She had caught Tormentous attention and smiled in turn as he acknowledged her accomplishment. Walking up to him, she handed over the skull and took a few steps back below the steps of his throne. Kita watched in silence as he turned the amulet around and examined it, his expressiom suddenly growing from satisfaction to sudden anger.
Kita stepped back further, the color draining from her face as her master got up from his throne. To say the young Sith apprentice was afraid in that moment was a understatement. She was terrified. Never before had she seen such anger directed at her. Watching as his hand ignite and build with the element of life and destruction, Kita suddenly realized he definitely was not going to hesitate in killing her for her failure. And she didn't understand why until he had stated it.
“I am not entertained, Acolyte! The artifact is useless without the gemstone. Without this artifact the tribes of the Massassi cannot be controlled as is a necessity for their people to unite behind. Without the Massassi the Sith as a whole lose an unfathomable resource. Do you realize what you’ve done in your failure! Without the Massassi, we must conscript soldiers in a way that the Sith Army cannot afford in means of time to train new assets to credit value.”
Kita took a step back with every step he took advancing towards her. "I'm sorry! I didn't know!" She yelled in reply. Kita had missed the fact there was a gemstone with the amulet. And the fact Warvanus withheld it, but only gave her half of it didn't help her situation any. Tormentous looked determined to bring her down as he rested his now piercing yellow eye in her direction. Her heart pounded in her chest, legs shaking from the anxiety of knowing she was going be killed right then and there. She hadn't even gotten to finish, much less really start her training. There was so much she wanted to learn and know about the force. Most of all she wanted to stay by Jacobi's side...and already his evil half of a personality was going to rid of her. ...Or so she thought.
Watching in disbelief, whatever the reason the Sith Lord had, Kita watched as he held back his attack and released the energy into a nearby pillar. Her blue eyes dilated in horror and disbelief as the sight of the collumn crumbled away into a pile of rubble, damaging everything around it. In that instant she felt compelled (Danger Sense), to cover her head with her arms to protect herself from the flying debris. She already suffered scaring from the spire prisons torture... So new ones potentially being added wasn't a concern. Kita for the first time in a LONG while wanted to cry as Tormentous pointed at her, yet she held it back. Crying in front of people for some reason made her uncomfortable.
“You will return to that damn wreck and retrieve that gemstone or you shall not return at all!”
Her mind was overwhelmed with emotions, however despite it all, she managed to hear the voice of Jacobi reach her mind, although faint. A sense of reassurance overcame her from the mandolorians words. He did warn her to avoid Tormentous wrath whenever possible. In the past she had indeed on occasion pushed him with her snarky attitude. However this time it wasn't provoked on purpose. Kita had been heeding the words of Jacobi.
"Kita, be strong."
She felt her heart warm at his support and stood a little taller pushing back her fear. Now she understood why Tormentous hadn't struck her down. Jacobi had been holding him back. She dared not say anything, instead she met his gaze seriously and nodded in response not daring to give in to her anxiety...

Re: Silvanius
The truth came in a short burst of energy from the Right Hand after Tormentous’ display had concluded and after he’d ordered Kita away in a shouting curse of fury. Just one example of how important each an every mission that he sent his people on that if even one notation to his plans were to go wrong then the consequences were severe. Kita had been given a huge responsibility of which on the outside any minor Sith Warrior could have done - but in truth he had entrusted Kita Ikari with the future fate of an entire species and possibly the fates of millions for if the Massassi did not fight for the Sith then conscription would have ensued and that meant draft programs and that sort of thing never made out well in the grand scheme.
That the truth of it was that Warvanus was being a snake and taking some glory for himself - well it wasn’t to further the issue but it was cunning on his part and a fine opportunity for Kita to learn the value of succeeding in her missions and suffering not any failure.
She had cried out that she was sorry and she’d not known but Tormentous eyed her venomously. “I’d not have sent my own Apprentice to undertake a mission of ill-import. Know this, Acolyte. Should I give you a task the weight behind it shall always have significance which must reflect upon your will to see it done to the end.” He heat of his anger eased and he resumed the throne - not speaking for many moments as he forced his emotions to settled and so he returned to his normal caged state of aggression.
Once settled he glanced to Warvanus and the Right Hand produced the very same gemstone that fit perfectly into the amulet. He did this clearly to where Kita could see the exchange. Kita would know loud and clear that Warvanus had set her up. Tormentous would not clear the air of that situation. Her anger was a delicious - and even precious commodity that the Dark One relished. What Kita did with those emotions was her own business and if it festered and developed into a hatred of his Right Hand he did not care. He didn’t need his Apprentice to like his Hand - so long as they obeyed his will so would he not interfere.
Taking the gemstone he fit it back into the setting of the amulet and the Force gave off a tremor if only slight as the gemstome flashed brightly, dimmed and appeared to show a hurricane within its’ crystalline surface. The Dark Side of the Force emanated from the amulet and Tormentous proudly set the skull aside. “Now, the Massassi will bow once more to their rightful rulers. We will depart for Yavin Prime soon.”
He looked to Kita. “Your failure will not be overlooked. Only the worthy shall survive and those who prove themselves worthless will find themselves as slaves until they expire. Figure out which one you are - and I suggest you do it quickly.”

Re: Silvanius
With her hands clasped tightly behind her back in nervousness, she felt uneasy under his yellow gaze as he spoke.
“I’d not have sent my own Apprentice to undertake a mission of ill-import. Know this, Acolyte. Should I give you a task the weight behind it shall always have significance which must reflect upon your will to see it done to the end.”
Kita cast her bright blue gaze downwards in discomfort at knowing she had failed her first mission given by Lord Tormentous. The feeling was bitter on her tounge. She did truly want to do her best for him and most of all Jacobi. The young sith apprentice already knew how to respond. She met his yellow eye, keeping herself as calm as possible under his intent criticism. "Yes Master. I'll proceed to keep that in mind, and continue to carry out my duties with determination to exceed your expectations."
She remained silent as Tormentous approached and settled himself back on his throne of skulls. It was only after a few moments that he had retrieved the gem from his other apprentice himself. Her jaw dropped at the site of it as her master placed it within the amulet. She felt the disturbance in the force from the gems power as it reactivated for a brief moment, its momentary light not going unnoticed. She would have been more curious had she not been distracted by the fact she had been duped out of the "full" amulet. She narrowed her eyes at Warvanus and gripped her fist in anger, her nails digging into her skin leaving indents in the palms of her hands. She wasn't going to lash out at him. Kita should have, could have. But she was far more above that kind of behavior.
Instead she sighed and let herself try to not dwell on it. Obviously there was nothing she could do about the situation. He was the Sith lords other apprentice after all. She was willing to accept that fact, and Kita accepted it might have been provoked by competition. Kita was new to all of this. And her presence had just been made known among the Sith not long ago after her arrival. She had been mostly a hidden apprentice before Tormentous came back into power. And could have been seen as a threat in the future despite she was the weakest one there. Maybe not in spirit or in smarts, but power wise? She really had nothing. What a few small powers? She wasn't much of a match for anyone in the Sith. Maybe only herself.
"Now, the Massassi will bow once more to their rightful rulers. We will depart for Yavin Prime soon.”
Not bothering to ask, Kita found she would find out later what these Massassi were. She was in no rush. There were more pressing matters for her to worry about. "From the sound of it, seems like I have another mission ahead of me." She thought before Tormentous turned his attention to her.
“Your failure will not be overlooked. Only the worthy shall survive and those who prove themselves worthless will find themselves as slaves until they expire. Figure out which one you are - and I suggest you do it quickly.”
She glared at her master offended. Hadn't she just made it clear where she stood? "MAN HE IS IRRITATING!!! How is he anything like the mandolorian I know??? If i could, i would smack the Sith Lord into the next galaxy whether he kiled me or not!" She unclenched her fist and shook her head to herself. "...But of course i wouldn't do that. If it weren't for Jacobi, i wouldn't be so nice to this idiot! He don't deserve it. Ugh." She just looked away frustrated. "Of course I'm worthy." She replied seriously.
