Re: Silvanius
Warvanus stood and watched as the Emperor re-assembled the Amulet. It had not been why he had come to the citadel or to the wreck, he had originally been in the wreck searching for the lost treasures, treasures he had hoped to present to his Emperor as gifts. He caught a glance at Kita he could feel her anger. He cracked the faintest of grins as he watched her, she wanted to tear him apart. He was not threatened, but he found it delicious.
The anger pouring off the Emperor’s newest Chosen was ripe, untapped fuel to channel and use the Dark Side, if she did not end up getting herself killed she would make a fine and powerful Sith. The currents of destiny were upon her, and he was right she needed to learn the consequences of both success and failure. Though failure was always the harder of the two. It made a fine teacher. But in reflection it was just a matter of timing. Either way this had been the will of the Dark Side.
Warvanus turned his back on Kita as he withdrew the crystal and spoke through the Force as this was for his Master’s ears alone (Telepathy)
“I wanted to present to you which is rightfully yours My Master”
He withdrew the Lightsaber crystal “This has been in my Lightsaber presented to me by Kroxota who told me this had one time been yours, Akaan Burkida is a jealous weapon and as such I no longer need my lightsaber.” He held it in his open palm while it was true on the wreckage he had the hilt of his lightsaber in hand but he had long since removed the crystal. It was now going to the rightful owner of it. His lightsaber had served him well, Akaan Burkida would prove be a more formidable weapon and one more suited for the would be Warrior-King.

Re: Silvanius
Tormentous fed off of Kita’s anger and her fury. Yes, this was exactly how he’d desired her to react. Her indignation was fierce indeed. (Feed on Dark Side). Those emotions as they would build up would overflow and soon in time she would use these emotions as raw power. As well it was a new constant in her life that would fester and continue to corrupt her without her even knowing. To a non-Force Sensitive these emotions were just that - emotions. To an Adept such as Tormentous, Warvanus or even herself these emotions produced Force energy and emotions were the most potent of the energies released. The Dark Side of the Force was very near and its cool touch was surrounding Kita - the Dark One could feel it.
For a moment Tormentous fell silent as he felt the connection between himself and the Right Hand. Warvanus had much on his mind and it surrounded the crashed Malevolet. This would take much deliberation as the records of exactly what was on that ship when it went down were gone and it was largely a mystery. But they were not impossible to recover. Tormentous would need to meditate on these things and seek out the truth.
His memory could tell Warvanus of the data that was on that ship but his meditations could touch the far flung relics that were buried when the ship went down. For now the matter would have to be addressed in private and within his meditation chambers. Though as he read the surface thoughts of Darth Warvanus he accepted the kyber crystal in hand.
With a careful touch he rolled the crystal over in his hand and nodded at the tiny trinket. There was so much history in this crystal. His eye traveled to Kita in that moment and he nodded. Though he placed the crystal safely in a pouch on his belt. There was still so much to do.
He rose from his position. “You mentioned a duel Acolyte.” He motioned to Warvanus and delivered his introduction. “This is Darth Warvanus. My Right Hand.” He nodded confidently as he could see her desire to fight him again on a more even playing field. But Tormentous would not demand any such rematch be made on any level grounds. If they fought, Warvanus would remain unhindered unless he chose to do so. “You will have your duel if to settle the matter once and for all. I feel it nagging at your mind that you wish revenge. This is good. Failure is key to growth but it is also acknowledgment of our own shortcomings.”
Eyeing the eager Apprentice he finally shook his head. “It will not be this day however, there is more pressing matters to attend.” He made to descend the steps, “Let us move on from this for the moment. We shall retire for the day and seek out hidden knowledge.”
Darth Tormentous moved the trio into his study. He sat behind his oaken desk and he both pulled out an old book, and activated a terminal. The book and terminal had old records in them. The warship in question had its records lost by whatever means be it destruction, lost in paper work or simply hidden in secret. But what the available logs would show were where the ship had gone through the years and with that knowledge perhaps Tormentous would have somewhere to key in on with his meditations.

Kita hadn't been paying attention much to her master in that moment. Instead she focused on Warvanus alone as he rose next to Tormentous. The grin he cast her way only fed into her anger. "What are you smiling for!?!?" She yelled angrily, not even bothering to care what her master thought of her sudden outburst. "It's not funny when it's happening to you..." She mumbled crossing her arms.
Unsure what Warvanus was doing with the Sith Lord, she could only see him hand Tormentous something but Kita hadn't been paying attention much to her master in that moment. Unsure what Warvanus was doing with the Sith Lord as he turned away, she could only see him hand Tormentous something but was unsure what it was. Unable to say or see anything, she tilted her head to the side slightly as Tormentous nodded at her while placing the kyber crystal away.
She grew confused as her master mentioned asking something about their duel earlier. She hadn't said much, less hear anything. ...So how did he know?

The Sith Lord wasn't wrong. She did want a rematch. “It will not be this day however, there is more pressing matters to attend. Let us move on from this for the moment. We shall retire for the day and seek out hidden knowledge.” Following Warvanus and Darth Tormentous into his study, she stood nearby with her back against the window as he pulled out his book and terminal.
"So, what's this hidden knowledge you were talking about?" She asked curiously.

Re: Silvanius
Warvanus ignored her outburst, she was a feisty one, if tempered and trained she would be deadly but if she did not watch herself she would not last very long among the Sith. When the Emperor retired, he followed along with his new apprentice it was to her now he spoke thru the Force to (Telepathy)
“You can get your revenge on me, if you feel you need to but if I were you I would pick that time very wisely , train and get stronger then come find me”
He would say nothing more on the matter, no egging on , no goading, if anything he just gave her some very sage advice. He definitely did not feel threatened by the Emperor’s new apprentice, not like how the Emperor’s chosen before him felt, afterall, a new Sith was a boon to them all. Strength in numbers. He was above such rivalries but most of the Sith around him were not.
Once inside the Emperor’s private study and he withdrew the book and terminal he listened attentively. Knowledge was power, hidden knowledge was extraordinary power. He would listen, and then when the time came he would act. All that mattered to the Warrior King was his Emperor’s will.

Re: Silvanius
Her outburst was uncontrolled this time and her voice was filled completely with indignation. The emotion was well placed and Tormentous could use them to entice the Darkness when the time came. But there was a time and a place - this sort of outburst could get her hurt or worse yet cut down for her insolence. It was one thing to have a sharp tongue but it was another to spout off where she shouldn’t otherwise do so. Tormentous did not care, words could not harm him and he was beyond such things. That said, the Sith of the Red Cauldron were volatile and others would harm her even with the knowledge of who her Master was. Tormentous needed Kita if he was ever to crush Jacobi so keeping her around was better than not. He would have to teach her tact - or beat it out of her one.
For now he had more important things to do and so he ignored correcting her for the moment. It also wouldn’t have been well to correct her in front of someone else even though Warvanus was in a similar position. Respect went a long way with Tormentous in some regards and rank and position was one of them that ran deep.
Her next coming question was a curious one and well placed. She was able to compartmentalize her anger, push it away and focus on the task at hand. A good trait to have. “Well, the Malevolent was my second warship I had taken on as my flagship back in the days of my rise to power and it was the longest serving. I had spent a long time aboard the ship scouring the galaxy here and there, her logs alone are likely worth a fortune as they have detailed coordinates all over Alliance and Imperial Space and even a charted route through the Red Nebula. Even just the recovery of those logs would do much to benefit our cause.”
From the terminal he produced schematics of what the warship should have looked like and she was indeed a sleek craft of warfare. This paired with the security codes extracted from the old book would give Warvanus a means with which to find and uncover the navicomputer and its recorder.
Tormentous moved on and extracted more information such as the Force Nexus on Spintir that was presumed buried by Jedi Master Buggie years ago. Its recovery would be a massive boon to the Sith. There was also the locations of the Sith Temples on Onderon and the route through the clouded nebula to reach the shrouded planet of Roon as well as its near destroyed Temple as well. Troves of fascinating information was still on the Malevolent and ripe for the picking.
The terminal also held old manifests - none of which were up to date at the time but they were intact and they listed many artifacts from the Massassi Amulet that Kita had recovered to old holocrons with potential secret Force abilities locked within their crystalline forms to rare trophy weapons of warriors Tormentous had slain along the way. It was very likely that there was far more yet that had been left in the dark but there was only one way to do this and that was through a proper excavation of the wreck.
Tormentous compiled this information for Warvanus onto a datapad and handed it to him. “Do with this as you please. Though another solution would be to send this information to the Overseers and Taskmasters at the Academy and have them utilize the Malevolent as an archaeological site and testing ground for their pupils.” Ultimately the Dark One would leave Warvanus to do with the information as he saw fit. Such was the value of the War-Bringer’s opinion.
Finally Darth Tormentous rose from his seat and eyed his Right Hand. “What more have you come for, Darth Warvanus?”

"Ohhh." Kita thought about the uses of the data Tormentous had built up overtime. She imagined what possibilities were available to her Master having this information. Quietly, she walked over to his desk and took a closer look at the information he was scanning through. She eyed the ships blueprint curiously and realized just how big the vessel actually was that was buried deep underneath the sand. "Its so huge..." She whispered to herself in awe. The fact she even made her way through the labyrinth without much trouble looking for the amulet alone was amazing.
She stood up straight as the Sith Lord finished copying the information onto a datapad and handing it to Warvanus. Kita stayed where she was as her Master asked what Warvanus reason was for coming to him. The young apprentice didn't know what to do. Stay or leave? Kita didn't wish to seem rude by lingering around listening into the conversation. But she couldn't leave her masters side either...

Re: Silvanius
He Bowed his head when he took the Datastick , this would help him. ”I must admit Master, this” he indicated to the datastick ”Was one reason but as you know there is more” He pocketed the datastick.
”I first felt a disturbance in the Force here which is what initially brought me to the Maleovent at first I thought it was your new apprentice” He casted Kita the briefest of glances before continuing ” There’s something on that wreck Master that is calling to me, with your blessing I wish to look into it, I know there are treasures, and information still locked away, anything I find would come to you, any information I come across the original modules will be given to you, I only ask for a copy for my own library” Tormentous could read his intentions and he would know that his words ring truth but then he changed the subject to his new apprentice.
”Your new apprentice has potential, she has a fire and much anger in her, things that would make her a very powerful Sith, I would even dare say Master of all the new hopefuls who have passed through our doors this one here” He gestured towards Kita “ Shows the most promise” He was taking a chance in delivering his opinion, but he was the Warrior King, the Emperor’s chosen Champion. He also knew his word would carry some weight with the Emperor. ”With combat training, she would be truly a fighting machine, in fact My Lord Emperor, She reminds me of how I had once been”
He gave Kita another glance it was rare praise indeed coming from the Warrior King. Before returning his gaze towards the Emperor ” She’s hungry for knowledge much like I am.” There was more but was for the Emperor alone
Through the Force (Telepathy) “I feel she is very loyal to you Master, her will I feel is to do yours” To even speak in this way to the Emperor could invite death, and had Warvanus been in another station he would have kept this to himself, but as the Hand and proven himself worthy he knew the Emperor would weigh his words. It was true she had potential but she needed more than knowledge in the Force, she needed battle training, martial arts, survival, tactics. When she came into her power she had the potential to be the Emperor’s deadliest servant.

Re: Silvanius
She marveled at the sight of the blueprints and even the holoimage of the Malevolent. She was a magnificent ship at one time and perhaps would be again should the Sith ever have the desire to resurrect her though it would surely cost more to bring up that ship than to simply construct a new one in its place. So there she would set, a monument ever to be stricken with the sands of time. Tormentous had no care of nostalgia so it mattered little to him in this case.
Kita’s proximity on his side of the desk was certainly different. Never had an Apprentice come this close to his work space. It wasn’t a rule or anything against it - just different. He did not mind, all the information here she was privy too anyways, the only information that he kept from his Hands and his inner circle was that which was on his holocron and even then he had always been generous with his knowledge and wisdom.
Darth Warvanus thanked him for the datastick and Tormentous acknowledged the genuine inflection. He did not desire the knowledge within that wreck to be lost forever. Having the Right Hand make a trip to determine the recoverable worth therein was a boon for not only himself but for Warvanus and indeed the Sith as a whole. This had been a smart move on behalf of all parties involved. Then the conversation shifted to Kita Ikari and Tormentous was intrigued at Darth Warvanus’ observations in which he too agreed that she beheld an incredible potential within her and only time would see her stronger.
Even he agreed with Warvanus’ assumptions of her loyalty. She seemed very strongly rooted. Of course it worked largely in his favor. It made manipulating her easier in the long run. But the Dark One knew then what Warvanus’ suggestions begat and he nodded then and there - his decision made. “Return to the Magnetar and therein your own domain Darth Warvanus.” He turned to Kita, “In one week’s time I sense that she will be fit and healthy in body and mind enough to undertake such a arduous effort as you say. In that time I will send her via shuttle. Train her to survive the harsh environments that we deal with day in and day out. Show her the hardships we bear.”
“Should I uncover more information on the Malevolent I shall send a courier. The most valuable data is already in your hands.”

He bowed his head at his decree , Kita would come to Karza there he will help her refine her technique and teach her to survive. It was the will of the Emperor and in turn it was the will of the Warrior King.
“Yes My Master” he said with a bow of his head and then added “I will keep you updated on any findings and if I find anything either I or Kinta Vetasa will deliver it to you personally” With that he took his leave and would set out to get to work.
A short shuttle ride saw him back on the Magnetar Kinta Vetasa greeted him in the shuttle bay.
=Onboard the Magnetar=
“Assemble the teams we discussed, our project has been greenlighted, and also prepare a room, the Emperor’s chosen will be coming to Karza to train” She bowed her head and took her leave.
Warvanus returned to his quarters on board his command ship.
From there he gazed out at the planet below. Soon the equipment would be ready and soon he would bring the team down to the wreckage site. He felt this was a very important piece in the puzzle. What puzzle he could not say. Only that some thing big was coming. Something that would forever change him, and the Sith as a whole. It was a storm in his mind, one he tried to push aside

Re: Silvanius
She observed Warvanus as he took the datapad and began discussing what it was he came their for. Listening, she quickly understood he had been looking for something on that ship. One that wasn't really involved with the amulet. His brief glance at her made her look away unsure how to feel with Tormentous other apprentice eyeing her and instead remained quiet from the conversation. She tried to distract her mind with other thoughts in the meantime. However once the subject landed on her, that's when she glanced over at Warvanus curiously.
”Your new apprentice has potential, she has a fire and much anger in her, things that would make her a very powerful Sith, I would even dare say Master of all the new hopefuls who have passed through our doors this one here shows the most promise.”
"Really? Do I really have that much of a temper? I thought I was pretty relaxed..." she thought. Although deep within herself there was built up anger over the years that had been locked away purposely. She never wanted to harm anyone and keep the peace, but ever since her mother died and the series of events leading to her kidnapping, it had possibly released since then, slowly but surely. She was a boiler ready to burst at any given moment the pressure grew to far tolerable. Being in the spire prison for that year really took the top for her built up anger. Being treated the way she had and humiliated upon arrival and leaving was almost enough to make her release all her hatred on whoever crossed her next. Yet she still tried to hold back.
”With combat training, she would be truly a fighting machine, in fact My Lord Emperor, She reminds me of how I had once been.”
Speechless. Kita was speechless. The man who was about to strike her down back in the ruins, The Dark Lord of this Sith...Tormentous own right hand ended up being the one wanting to train her in combat. He wasn't wrong about her wanting to learn more. Anything and everything that was offered to her she wished to learn.
She still remained quiet as her Master turned her way. “In one week’s time I sense that she will be fit and healthy in body and mind enough to undertake such a arduous effort as you say. In that time I will send her via shuttle. Train her to survive the harsh environments that we deal with day in and day out. Show her the hardships we bear.”
"Well don't this sound fun?" Another death trial. As if she didn't have enough already in the past year and a half. She smiled slightly at the War-Bringer as he bowed to the Sith Lord and rose making his exit to further look into the ruins.
Once gone, Kita turned and looked at Lord Tormentous. "So what are we doing next before I head off for training next week?"
