Tormentous eyed his Apprentice Kita as her surface thoughts brushed sarcasm. “These things are not arbitrary, Acolyte. Survival is everything and our trial of survival never ceases.” Just like that however he moved on without missing a beat. Rising up from his desk he moved out from behind the desk and turned to his newest Acolyte. There was still so much to do and she’d just managed to persevere through so much. She was impressive and more. But Tormentous would no express this as his students were beyond verbal rewards, they could operate and execute tasks and not feel the need to drool over words.

“Next, there is never a next. Either we are training, studying or fighting. The life of a Sith is conflict and you must always be prepared.”

He motioned for her to approach and once she did he wasted no time in moving into her next lesson. “You are to arrive at the level of the Force in which you may truly begin to reach new heights. Though this is the time in which you begin to come to the ways of the Sith.”

“The Code of the Sith -
Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.”

“In this code we live our lives in one way or another. In everything you do, remember this code and you will not fail.” He allowed a moment for Kita to digest the information and then he moved forward with the lesson. “Reach out to the Force and claim it for you own. It is your goal now to extend your capacity of the Force and therein your potency shall increase - this is what you must focus on through meditations and constant conditioning.”

“These things are not arbitrary, Acolyte. Survival is everything and our trial of survival never ceases.”

She looked away briefly from his gaze. Kita hadn't realized he was so in tune with her thoughts and emotions. "Yes...Sorry Master. I'll keep that in mind." She admitted to herself she had been through so far many trials of survival. She hadn't failed yet. Here she was still alive and breathing. Scarred none the less, but alive. She remained silent as he left his desk and walked about the room.

“Next, there is never a next. Either we are training, studying or fighting. The life of a Sith is conflict and you must always be prepared.”

Without hesitation she stepped towards Lord Tormentous. Stopping in front of him, she looked up and met his yellow gaze squarely. A curious and yet determined look flashed through her blue eyes as she listened intently to his teachings.

---BEGIN FORCE LVL 3---300 Words---

It was that time again as the young Sith Apprentice closed her eyes and began concentrating on the Force energy around her. Every step thus far was leading her up to this moment since she first met Jacobi, to training on how the Force worked. To what it felt like, looked like, how it affected everyone and everything around her. She had been behind in her training that past year, but never stopped meditating on the past teachings her Master had taught her about the unseeing energy that enveloped and penetrated everything in the galaxy. Kita set her mind determinedly on the expansion of her own energy field. It was slightly larger in aproximety since the last time she had to learn to control her energy, though not by much had it expanded. She could see the vivid colors of the Force moving through her body and within her Force field in consistent smooth waves. It was fast, but fluent...if she imagined it, she could easily compare it to the soft crashing sounds of the ocean waves hitting up against the rocks on the shore on her home planet Tibrin.

With a sense of curiosity she could feel the prickle of the Forces pull leading her to her Master, Lord Tormentous as he stood within her Force field. It had been over a year since she had used the Force to examine him in any way, and grew curious at how his Force energy now was since regaining his powers.

She approached forward with her mind, sensing the differences now. No more could she feel the colliding of two energies of the Force and his own lifes energy. It was now running fluently together like a calm stream. However, she frowned slightly as she felt and watched the energy flow channel in two different directions. Almost like they were separate channels altogether. Observing it further she noticed one side was a darker hue in the vibrant colors then the other. Last time she saw her masters energy, it was mingled to the point their was no distinction.

Kita delved deeper into the matter, and with great eagerness to figure out this mystery she felt the Force energies separately. The lighter tide brought warmth to her own body and energy field, tingling pulses rushing through bringing a sense of relaxation to her mind. It was one she enjoyed the feeling of. But she couldn't stay longer.
Pulling away, she set onto observing and feeling the second energy flow. As the young Sith apprentice drew closer to it, she suddenly became ice cold. Shivers rushed down her spine in a instant as it invaded her own Force field.

This energy...she knew this energy. This was the Force of darkside she was sensing from Tormentous. The power alone felt like it wanted to linger within her, to overpower her. She wanted to pull away from the darkness slowly taking hold...but...for some reason she was unable too. Kita wanted to grab hold of it as it began to give her a overwhelming rush of power, intoxicating her. She loved it. It was in that moment she realized the dangers of this and panicked, forcing herself to pull back. (Force Disturbance) A deep tremor, like a tsunami crushing into a unsuspecting village could be felt in the Force as she reluctantly pulled away from the power that was the darkside...

---END FORCE LVL 3---490 Words---
Opening her eyes, she felt the headache approaching again she once had back on the Harbringer a year ago. The disturbance's always did cause her head to hurt feircly the deeper she got into them. The young sith apprentice understood the mix of dark and light energy. It was that of her beloved Jacobi and her Sith Lord Master Tormentous separate entities. Looking down with a hand on her head, she tried not to dwell on the Darkside's pull for her. She needed to remain as clear headed as possible for Jacobi's sake. She would use the darkside...but she refused to give in to it. Although it was tempting  at times...

Time would pass like the setting sun on Moraband and each day brought Kita the same punishing trial of survival. She would spar with the Dark Lord for extending periods of time, each fight lasting longer than the last and each fight Tormentous would become more violent with her to the point that she would have to struggle to keep up. To make Kita a worthy Apprentice she would have to reach her limits each and every day and surpass them - or fall trying. Her strength, speed and experience grew exponentially with the Dark One overseeing her training personally. Though martial prowess was not the only area of study - once the sparring was concluded she was ran through the teachings of the Force. Many times reaching back and perfecting already learned skills, other times he would teach her something new or simply he’d teach her a philosophical point.

When not actively training, eating or sleeping Kita was sent to the medical wing where top of the line medical equipment was utilized to provide therapy for her malnourished musculature, reviving it to its peak and providing stimulants for future growth, she was also provided the finest skin grafts to assist her bodies’ natural ability to do away with the heavy scarring she received in the Spire, though her wrists were also worked on the complete measure of those scars would never go away.

Finally though the time had come to send Kita Ikari away to train in wilderness survival with Darth Warvanus. It wouldn’t be indefinite but the training would be essential and crucial both to Kita’s continued learning as a Sith Warrior.

Tormentous cast her wayward without goodbyes and little more than a command to return - he did not grant her permission to die on this journey though it was a very real possibility. In the time in which she was going to travel with Warvanus, the Dark Lord would venture to the Lord Sovereign’s Tower where he would be in deep discussion with the High Priest over certain matters.

Upon Kita’s return from Warvanus’ training though she would not be welcomed with opened and warm arms.

Darth Tormentous viewed the shuttle that carried Kita down to the landing pad. His eye narrowed upon it and he could sense her growth through the Force. It was time to see how far she’d come. He gave a nod to a figure in the shadows - the command to proceed.

The landing pad itself was wide open save for some crates nearby. Once Kita’s ramp lowered to let her out though the crates would open up and out would unfold two very deadly and very lethal Sith Warbots. These droids were heavily armored and heavily armed. Normally Tormentous had only ever dispatched one to kill his Apprentices and half the time it was overkill. This time however he’d sent two. If Kita Ikari was going to survive then she’d be brought to the brink and forced to step beyond it. She would prove she was worthy - it was the only way.

Without words given the two droids opened fire on Kita’s shuttle with their blaster cannons. They both held dangerous looking vibroswords as well in case Kita was able to get in close to them. It would take all of her cunning and then some to defeat these foes.

As Tormentous watched the unfolding events from the high balcony he mused to himself. “Only the strong survive and have the right to rule. The weak are only deserving of death. Which among these are you - my Apprentice?”

It had been a few weeks since Kita had left to battle train with Warvanus and went with him for survival training. She was going back for a few more weeks after staying a bit with her Master back on Moraband. There was more training to do with the War-Bringer after she had finished her force and battle training with Lord Tormentous for a bit.

As the ship landed, Kita yawned and awaited for the ramp to open. It had been a long ride back and she had only slept maybe a few hours the whole way to Tormentous's citadel. She had spent half of the time practicing on her meditation while the other half was making sure her weapons were in perfect condition. The last thing Kita needed was a weapon dull or malfunctioning right in the middle of battle.

Kita squinted her eyes slightly as the ramp began to lower. A feeling of unease settled over the young sith apprentice as the view of her masters citadel came into view in the distance. "I don't like this..." She muttered to herself. Right as the ramp stopped, her blue eyes naturally rested on the two crates a few feet away just ahead of her. Something was wrong about this setting. Kita felt the darkside of the force lingering around her, seeming to guide her...warning her. (Danger sense) In a split second she had already withdrew her vibrolance, activating it right as the two crates ahead of her opened revealing the two sith droids inside. Quickly she ducked behind the wall near the ships exit...but she didn't plan to stay long.

Staying in the ship as they continued firing was not the best idea. Hiding behind the vehicle was no better at this point, for it was doomed for disaster depending on how much damage the shuttle could take before the possibility of it exploding. Taking a deep breath, she peeked out for a few seconds to observe the two droids. Noticing there extra armor and weapons in hand, Kita knitted her brows in frusteration. "This isn't going to be easy." She thought while clenching her teeth in thought. Her eyes shifted to her vibrolance and then back to the droids as a idea came to mind. She would have to be careful not to get killed in the attempt of stopping the Sith droids.

Gripping her lance tightly in hand, she ran out avoiding the majority of line of fire. She dodged the lasers minus a couple that managed to shoot her in the right shoulder and grazing her left side. There shots came out fast. She would have gone around the warbots and struck from behind...but holding the vibroblades, they could easily turn back on her in a instant. No. She needed to keep the enemies attacks in line of sight to disarm the droids first, then attack.

Pushing through the pain of her injuries, she ducked as the shooting ceased, their blades extending upwards to make a downward strike. She allowed the darkside to guide her, with a smirk on her face, the activated end of her lance touched the sword in warbots hand on her right. This caused the electricity from her vibrolance to travel through the droids blade stunning it briefly enough to forcefully kick it from the warbots hand. She hadn't forgotten the droid on her left. She sensed (danger sense) the oncoming attack from the second droid and dodged it as she danced quickly to the side while scooping up the first droids fallen blade in hand off the ground.

Swiftly she did the same with her lance on the second droid, stunning it enough to kick it's blade from its hand. This wasn't easy. She couldn't get both armored bots at the same time in one go without the other trying to cause her harm. So another idea came to mind. She quickly wedged the blunt end of the stunned droid on the left in its underarm while doing the same with the activated side on the other droid. Both being in such close range allowed her to connect the two together with her lance making it harder for them to move about and attack her.

Grabbing the other blade the second droid dropped, Kita leaped up onto the droid on her left sides back and started wedging in the vibroblade to loosen a part of the armor on its back. She didn't know where the the off switch was, but if she cut the right wire from the power source itself. She might have been able to deactivate the droid. She held on as best she could as the bots began struggling to detach from, each other. However Kita knew it was close to impossible. The lance was wedged in between two pieces of their armor in a place they wouldn't be able to reach very well with their other arm.

Finally managing to pry open a piece of the armor on its back. She stared at a bunch of colored wires in annoyance. "Which one is it??" She thought. Her eyes looked at each wire as she tried to let her feelings guide her through the force itself. Finally settling on one of them, she grabbed the end of her jacket to wrap around the hilt of the vibroblade to avoid electricuting herself and cut the wire with the tip of the blade. It took seconds for the droid to shut down before leaping off its back and doing the same to the other droid. Now the deactivated droid was a dead weight for the other, making the hold on the Warbots back a bit easier to grip with less resistance on both ends.

After doing the same for the other droid, she leaped off and watched in satisfaction as they tumbled in a now joined heap on the ground. Walking over to them, she wiggled her lance out from them and continued to hold it in hand in case their was a second wave unexpectedly approaching. Her blue eyes glanced up as a frown formed on her face at the dark figure of her Master in the distance at the top of his Citadel on the balcony. "NICE WELCOMING ME BACK!!" She yelled sarcastically. Annoyed with Tormentous, Kita took the two vibroblades with her as she walked towards the Citadel's entrance. What was the point of leaving 2 blades unattended for a potential surprise enemy to take?

Darth Tormentous resumed his position sitting upon the Throne of Skulls and he awaited Kita Ikari’s return without any sort of passionate retort either for her victory or her outburst. He had more important things to dwell upon rather than to scold what an Apprentice thought was clever. There was still so much to do. Tormentous awaited the blonde girl and he was not pleased with how long he had to wait for her. Though upon her entrance he did not fall on ceremony or anything of the like. He rose to his feet and commanded her immediately once she was within earshot that he needn’t shout to be heard.

“Kneel, Apprentice.”

He was not in the mood to be defied. If she had a witty quip or snide remark in her then she was going to get hurt. The time for training had come and now was the moment when Kita Ikari was to earn her Sith name and leave behind the foolish ties of her past.

This was going to be a long process here today but if she survived, she was going to be knee deep in the Darkness forevermore. So would begin the Warrior Silvanius. Tormentous loomed over Kita and once she knelt before him he took out a tiny item from his belt and thumbed it in the palm of his hand. “Seek ye more everyday of your life and it shall be found. It is power that makes us great, not ambition. Inner strength and determination to carry on despite the odds stacked against us. Every moment of our lives is now filled with the strife of war and conflict. Your is no different. Though I will not have you travel blindly into the maw of such conflict without girding you in preparation.” He pointed at her with his free hand quite menacingly. “Ultimately though it boils down to you. Either you will rise on your own - or you will die alone. You must persevere. I will not help those who are weak. For only the strong shall survive and it is the weak who are meant to serve for whatever it is that the strong deem their lives to be.”

“Nothing is given. Everything is earned.” He put whatever it was in the palm of his hand away and once more looked upon Kita.

It was time. “The Force is many things. To us it is a tool - a weapon. For this lesson you shall dig deeper into the Force than you ever have before. Seek out those that dwell beyond life.” He motioned all around them, “In this place the spirits of those long gone tarry here and those that seek them out will be imbued knowledge or simply power itself. Dive deep into the energy field that surrounds you and use your senses to guide you through the ethereal realm. Bring the Force to you and take in its power to expand your own. In doing these things you will find an increase in power, potency of skills, an increase in the response time that it may take for the Force to respond to your commands - no longer will you have to meditate to use your basic senses for things will become faster, sharper, more accurate, refined. Seek these things, Acolyte and then today’s lessons may begin.”

Despite the fact Kita had felt she did well defeating the Sith bots, the young Sith apprentice was still kinda in a bad mood from her Master's dangerous way of greeting and testing of her skills as soon as she walked off that ship. Of course Kita knew she was to expect this from Lord Tormentous. That was the way he prepared her for battle and for growth as his apprentice. Didnt mean she didn't always have to agree with the approach of how he did it. Walking into the room, Kita made her way around the hearth and began approaching his throne with a annoyed expression on her face. Tormentous sometimes pissed her off...yet she admired him in some respects. Why? She didn't know. It certainly wasn't because of Jacobi. There was something about his personality she found interesting that in a way drew her to him. That was a potentially dangerous thought. Kita didn't want to nessarily feel any interest in her Master other then the fact he was training her in the ways of the force to become stronger. To be able to fend for herself. And to protect Jacobi.

The young Sith apprentice remained silent as he got up and approached her commanding her to kneel before him. His aura was as domineering as ever as he showed the slight displeasure of her sarcastic remark earlier outside the citadel. However he didn't scold her for it as she thought he would. Not sure exactly what was going on, she followed his orders and kneeled to one knee looking up at him questionably as he looked down at her.

She noticed her master playing with something, but disregarded it for now as he spoke.

“Seek ye more everyday of your life and it shall be found. It is power that makes us great, not ambition. Inner strength and determination to carry on despite the odds stacked against us. Every moment of our lives is now filled with the strife of war and conflict. Your is no different. Though I will not have you travel blindly into the maw of such conflict without girding you in preparation.”

She flinched slightly as he suddenly pointed at her. His hand just inches from her face.

“Ultimately though it boils down to you. Either you will rise on your own - or you will die alone. You must persevere. I will not help those who are weak. For only the strong shall survive and it is the weak who are meant to serve for whatever it is that the strong deem their lives to be.Nothing is given. Everything is earned.”

Glancing as Tormentous put away the mystery item in his pocket, she listened with curiosity and intense interest at his next explanation in one of her lessons came about.

Seek these things, Acolyte and then today’s lessons may begin.”
BEGIN FORCE LEVEL 4 - 400 WORDS

Closing her eyes, Kita once again let herself feel the moving energy of the Force around her. Her annoyance from earlier clearly giving her more focus in on the energy melding, merging with her own Force energy. At first it was the same to her as before. Swirling moving waves of color, always in constant motion throughout every person and object in the room, moving within and through objects. The difference was that with her constant day by day meditation, Kita had come to realize she could sense things a lot further within the Force. Within the Room. Within the Citadel. Although not as far as she would have liked. In time that would change as she continued her path in the Sith.

Furrowing her brow, Kita attempted searching for what Lord Tormentous commanded her to do within the Force...however it was met with unintentional distraction. Knowing her masters own energy was lingering over her and the sounds and energy of the crackling hearth nearby, these two things were causing her from keeping focused for some reason today into diving deeper with her task. Sighing, the young sith apprentice reminded herself she couldn't let the distractions get to her. Instead, she did her best to ignore her masters presence and the fires sound of destruction as she delved deeper into the colorful dark energy around her. In moments of finally managing to block out the distractions from her mind, Kita realized the room grew suddenly silent. It was dark. Cold. Like a void in between reality and...somewhere else. It could not be explained.

A feeling of unease settled over her as she tried figuring out what exactly was going on. In the corners of her mind she was panicking a bit since she was afraid…not of the darkness itself. But the presence she felt lurking within the frigid energy that surrounded her. She had felt this before on Zoist. But not like this. It was clearer, more alive, more intense now that she was solely concentrating on it. She fought herself at first deciding if she truly wanted to continue her venture deeper within the darkness or pull away.

No she didn't. Kita might have been afraid of this presence lurking in the energy of the force, but she was determined to face her fears and continue her training. A look of determination crossed her features as she began moving forward, seeking out answers in the unknown presence and energy. After a bit of what seemed liked hours to her, Kita began to hear whispers in the darkness. The young apprentice grew tense, but was more curious then anything to find what the voices were saying. Upon tuning in on them, she found she couldn't understand a word they were saying. It was like they were there...but not existing there at all. This frustrated Kita. She hated not knowing what the voices could tell her. What was in the unknown.

She reached out with her mind eagerly hoping she would attract the presence within the darkness to her...which she had just managed just that. But it didn't come in the form of a person. No. Just a living dark energy caressing her mind and body. Her very being.
All this time through her force training sessions she had been pushing away this dark energy that dared to entice her on a daily basis and consume her. Kita had fought hard to keep it at bay from taking over her. But now, the young sith apprentice felt she needed to give in. Needed to start fully accepting the darkness in her heart in order to continue with her master Lord Tormentous, for Jacobi, to grow stronger in her abilities with the Force.

Inhaling, she put her guard down and let the darkness lurk and dwell within her heart, helping her to expand her own power and energy. It was a shock at first, but just as she had come to find, there was a power unlike any other within this energy. It made her feel like she could do almost anything. And a part of Kita loved it. Although...this was just the beginning. For at this moment allowing the darkside inside her...Kita had slowly began her true decent into the darkside…

END FORCE LVL 4 ~ 716 Words
She glanced up at Lord Tormentous, a certain spark of determination in her blue gaze as she remained silent awaiting her masters next step into her training.

After a few days the Dark Lord once more summoned his Apprentice but this time he took her into his office and once the door was sealed he took her to his desk and stood close behind her, his right hand rested on her bare shoulder, “It is time.” His voiced echoed through the empty room and then he reached forward and took his holocron from the table and stepped back away from her. “Have you brought the components?” His question was meant to be rhetorical, if she hadn’t brought the necessary items he’d instructed then he wouldn’t have been pleased at all with her negligence. Though in the end he was confident he’d not chosen a stupid Apprentice.

Opening his hand he floated the holocron above his palm and it drifted to the middle of the room where it gently settled to the ground. Then it opened like a beautiful flower in bloom to deliver a bright hue of red into the room - yet its depth seemed to swallow everything around it. The components Kita had brought with her had identical pieces within the image the holocron produced yet they focused on the base components rather than the long haft that she would add to her own weapon.

Darth Tormentous would walk around her for the next and foreseeable future during the construction phase and once she’d accomplished this he would depart and allow her to commune with the weapon in order to activate it for the first time.

He produced something from his belt and tossed it to her. She would likely recognize it as the very same kyber crystal as the one they’d handled back on their trip around Nal Hutta and the very one Jacobi Wylcott had used as payment. Obviously he’d gotten it back during the scuffle and now he was handing it over to Kita Ikari - for nothing. The crystal was clear, translucent to an extent.

“This will be your focus point. Begin the exercise by placing your components out before you and meditate on each and every piece. Take your time and be thorough for if you do not properly bond each item not only to one another but to yourself then you will find yourself handling a very volatile weapon that could be as dangerous to you as it could be to others.”

“The components must be put together in sequence. Start with the diatium power cell and set the cell in the power field conductor. Take your time to properly set your primary crystal mount up within the energy chamber where the focusing crystal will go. Then the energy channel must be properly installed and finally the emitter.”

“As these items are correctly set to come together you must then focus on your kyber and this portion will take the longest of all. You must properly bond with it. Yet to a Sith the bond is not a welcome one for the crystal will naturally rebel from your will. You must focus your mind and create an undeniable command in which you shall force the crystal to your will. For most Sith this causes a bleeding effect which will tear the nature of the crystal from the Light Side of the Force - where kybers naturally dwell - and force it to serve the Dark Side of the Force. Your kyber will turn red and you will know you have succeeded. Then all that is left is for you to connect these components together, set your crystal, and go through the completed weapon with the Force - ensure your work is prepared and when you are finished - activate the weapon.”

The newly named sith apprentice Silvanius nodded and took out the items from her silver sidepouch her master requested she gather for the start of building her saber. Silvanius thought long and hard on the weapon she wished to build the past few months since she started her saber combat training with Lord Tormentous. A normal saber would have been fine, and originally she wanted a duel saber with two different colors on each side. But in the end, the best weapon to fit Silvanius was none other than a Lightstaff. It allowed her to be practical in battle without always needing to rely on her saber alone, and was convenient for her fighting style.

She looked up as Tormentous brought out a pyramid shaped like object. Silvanius had remembered seeing this object in her masters throne room. She grew curious and mesmerized by the holocron as it opened up and floated over to settle in the middle of his office. The red light sort of bringing an odd dark and mysterious feeling to the atmosphere of this moment. Seeing the image appear, Silvanius knew this project was going to take time. She would need all her concentration on building her saber with no distractions.

Walking over, she sat down in front of the holocron and laid out her items before her. The long shaft of her soon to be staff was removed from her back as she set it aside on the floor for the time being. Without a word, she looked up the second her master tossed something to her. Opening her hand, Silvanius looked down at the object and realized it was the kyber crystal from her first mission with Jacobi back on Nal Hatta. The same day she had managed to also blow up the great jedi Master Kenobi and his partner Varn to escape the marsh planet. It was the start of her training, and she had no powers of any kind unlike now. She looked at Tormentous questionably. She knew Jacobi had been holding onto this kyber for a reason. Was it ok for her to really use it? But it didn't matter now. Tormentous was the one in charge at the moment, so she didn't argue. Instead she remained silent as her master helped direct her.

Obviously this was going to take her some time. For Silvanius didn't want to end up with a weapon that was dangerously against her. No. She needed to keep her patience while also continue to show determination during this project.

And so she began...
~LIGHTSTAFF APP BEGIN~1000 Words~

Kita's lips pierced as she stared at the pieces upon the floor of her master's office. Looking up at the diagram before her, Silvanius looked over to the Diatium power cell and grabbed the smooth cold metal in her hand while taking another look to the diagram in front of her. "Powerfield conductor…"

Averting her gaze away from the picture, she looked for the copper colored piece among the other parts of the soon to be saber and grabbed it. Observing both and looking up at the instructions, she focused her attention on carefully sliding the diatium powercell into the powerfield conductor. Once set, she grabbed the power vortex ring, adding it inside the powerfield conductor and then the innert power insulator. Meticulously she worked on wrapping it around the powerfield conductor and looked back up again to make sure she was building her saber correctly. The hand grip attachment and belt ring were added afterwards, allowing her to have a proper hold on her saber as she built it from the bottom up. Silvanius trusted in the Forces guidance as she concentrated on each piece through the process, some steps easier than others.

Once satisfied with what small amount she had already accomplished, Silvanius grabbed the primary crystal mount and attached it to the diatium power cell. This part she had to take extreme measures to treat the primary crystal mount with a careful and steady hand. Following along, the Sith apprentice added the energy gate next before attaching the crystal energy chamber. The process felt long as she took her time making sure each piece fit without resistance with the other.

The focusing crystal activator came next before adding the focusing crystals. Silvanius knew the main crystal would not be added until the last moment. If she were to add it now, she had a feeling there was a chance the saber would activate before it was even finished. And she didn't want to find out how powerful the crystal could be when untamed from its cell. It needed the full guidance of the lightsabers hilt itself.

The cycling field energizers came next before the blade energy channel. Silvanius had fiddled with this part briefly before trying to tackle the energy modulation circuits. Each one of the brightly colored wires began starting to stress the young Sith apprentice out as she attempted to insert them into her blade without entangling them. The thick wires refused to bend at first as she tried to guide them, making sure they remained in place. "...I hate these wires. So annoying." She mumbled quietly. After a few attempts at trying to get the wires to fit, Silvanius figured it was time to try a different tactic. Pulling out a wire cutter, she made a clean cut on the colored wires before gently cutting off some of the access colored covering, making the wire shorter so it could fit better inside the base of the saber and exposing the copper wire underneath. As much as the red dim lighting in the room was calming in a way, it also made it alot harder to see what she was doing within the lighting.

The wire poked her fingers as she tried to grab at it, twisting the wires together so they didn't part from each other before finally smoldering them, attaching them to the chassis and powercell. The air filling had a distinct smell of burning metal as the smoldering tool heated bright red, melting the copper wire. With a sigh of relief, she set down the smoldering tool and looked at her handiwork briefly before continuing onwards.

Her blue gaze looked down to see two silver knobs shining in the red light as Silvanius picked them up. They were added to the sides of her lightsaber, screwing them in tightly so they didn't come loose in whatever future battles awaited her. One was the blade length adjust knob, while the other was the blade power adjust. She had read this allowed her to use her saber in training sessions without killing or severing a limb in battle sessions. Although knowing her master...that feature was most likely going to be used on full power to kill. For if she didn't survive her training sessions, then her master wouldn't have seen her as worthy to be his apprentice. In the sith it was do or die. There was no handicap.

The blade arc tip was added after this along with the magnetic stabilizing ring. Then the ring tuning flange and the blade emitter shroud were added. Finally after taking one last look at the diagram given, she knew she was mostly done. All that remained was attaching her staff to it and bonding with her kyber. But first she needed to add the joint she made earlier for this build. It was her own addition to her saber.

Unzipping her silver pouch, she removed a metal round joint. Taking it, she took off the sabers belt ring briefly to weld the joint at the end of the sabers hilt and then weld the sabers belt ring to the middle of the joint itself. This would allow the sith apprentice to fold her saber and staff for easier travel instead of always attaching a large staff to her back. Grabbing the long shaft of her staff, Silvanius attached and welded it to the other end of the joint before testing its mobility. Both pieces of saber and staff folded evenly, able to sit upon her belt for easy access.

Now the hard part was to occur...Silvanius had to tame her kyber in order to bring the saber to life and complete the process.

Setting the blade aside, Silvanius set the seemingly clear kyber down on the floor in front of her. It's cloudy clear appearance caused the dim red light to reflect back off the kyber itself as she closed her eyes and began focusing on the crystal. Remembering her training, she expanded her own Force energy and began feeling the force around her as well as the Force moving through the kyber itself. Its raw power just waiting to be unleashed as she attempted to tame it.

Unlike most, Silvanius was not yet evil like a true sith. She had just begun her true journey into the darkside. So the kyber itself proved to be not as resistant against her as perhaps the other Sith before her. But it still had not chosen her willingly...so she needed to take control. To bend it to her will as her master would say. The kybers energy automatically shifted away like a school of fish alluding a predator in the oceans coral reefs as Silvanius allowed her own Force energy to begin mingling with the crystals. It was obvious to the young sith apprentice that it was avoiding her.

Silvanius's brows furrowed as she decided to approach its energy from all sides, surrounding it, rushing in to mingle with the crystal's energy. It had no place to go, except accept its fate. To intertwine with Silvanius's own energy. It was resistant at first as they met, clashing before it finally began flowing in unionison with her own. The crystal and Silvanius energy had now begun absorbing each other's emotions, opening up to each other in a way that only a close friend could be. She allowed her emotions to flow through as she came to know the kyber better...more on an intimate level.

It was at this moment Silvanius began thinking on things. On her past. On her future. Everything that she had held dear and the things she had gone through. Things she didn't dare talk about, but had on her mind over the past year. The loss of her mother had hit her hard, but not as badly as seeing her father fall from grief of his passing wife. Having to take over the majority of the business in maintaining the stocks and shipments. Selling the product to the sentinents and tourists alike who passed through her tropical village. And then came the day her life became alot more complicated.

The day she had been taken by the mandolorian Jacobi Wylcott and his partner Mercy. Starting out as no more than a captive and tool for Jacobi to kill the Sith Lord Blood. Finding out she was a force user and beginning to train in the ways of the force. But most of all, her unusual attraction to the mandolorian as he trained her overtime. Sure it had been a one sided attraction. And Silvanius hadn't realized her true feelings for him until she had been separated for a year, cast into the sith prison of the spire. But she had survived torture and the like to be reunited with Jacobi. Sad to find however he had lied to her and also found he had been the real Sith Lord all along. But she hadn't cared at the time. Silvanius aka Kita knew there was good in Jacobi, and she now knew this Sith Lord Tormentous, her master was not him. Which is why she had decided to stay under Tormentous rule and train in the darkside. To protect Jacobi, to make sure he knew he wasn't forgotten or alone as his other personality took control in the forefront.

Kita desired to be stronger to protect and look out for him. Maybe one day hoping a chance for Jacobi to be himself again would arise to the surface of the shadows he was now consumed by. And the only way to do that, had been for Kita to dive headfirst into the darkside itself. Being evil seemed to be the only option for now in staying close to the one she loved. It was a choice she had to make. A few days prior she had finally decided to take that step. One she would find most likely to never escape from as she fought her own desires with logic. The kyber felt this, and had finally fully accepted and bonded with the new sith apprentice Silvanius...

~LIGHTSTAFF APP END~ 1,685 Words~
Opening her eyes, Silvanius silently picked up the kyber crystal and placed it carefully into the main crystal chamber before closing it. Forgetting her masters presence, she felt the need to ignite the newly formed blade and unfolded it before activating the switch. With a sudden sound of vibrating power ringing in the silence of the room, a bright silver light ignited from the opposite end of her staff, illuminating and mingling with the red light from her masters holocron. She smiled, blue eyes wide in admiration and satisfaction before giving the staff a brief twirl of her hand. It felt somehow lighter then before the kyber was added. As to why, she didn't know. But she did know that she was ready for the next step in her training among the sith.

Darth Tormentous unfolded his arms in that moment. This process had taken a long time for Kita Ikari to manage but she had done so and he had watched every step that she had taken on this journey. She had done well - very well. The Dark One reached outwards with his hand and the red looming holocron lifted into the air and came to his hand obediently - it folded in on itself as a receding flower and eventually the puzzle piece complete it resumed its dormant state as a pyramid. Once the glow died down the pyramid settled into the palm of his hand and he held it while he walked around his desk and set the holocron back onto its pedestal.

He turned and faced Kita once more, moving back to stand before her again. He extended his hand, a silent command that she give him the weapon. It was the moment in which he would inspect her work and her craftsmanship, he would judge the weapon and deem it worthy - or he would deny the weapon and cast it from the balcony of his Citadel along with Kita too if she had failed him.

“The weapon of a Sith Lord. I have deemed you worthy in this moment to craft your own and see it done. This is the first step, Acolyte, on your journey through the hierarchy of the Sith Order. None shall ever see you the same after this day. They would all see you as a Lord. But be not clouded in arrogance for you have much to learn yet and so much more to earn before you are to be even considered my Hand. You will suffer much in this life but through your suffering you will grow in power, wisdom and strength. Your legacy will grow in time and someday you will earn the right to stand at a position of glory where an entire Empire will bow at your feet - until that day comes you will continue to serve me in all things - and it shall begin with this.” He ended, reaching out for her weapon.

Contrary to all training and logic - A Sith should never under any circumstances relinquish their weapon to anyone even their own Master despite the commands, demands or otherwise threats. But this instance was different as it was Kita’s first lightweapon and it was a very new experience for her. Tormentous had no intention of using it on her in some act of treachery or giving her a lesson in such - no - this time it was an honest inspection though It would likely be the only time he ever did so.

The rest - was up to her. She would relinquish her weapon to him and he would elevate her thus - or she would deny him and he would take it from her broken corpse.

Everyday with Tormentous was just another day survived when ever the slightest or simplest misstep would result in the most extreme of punishments. Such was his hellfire rage.

She took notice as the holocron's light suddenly vanished from the room. Turning, she watched as her master set the holocron back down on his desk. Kita had read about holocron's in the library and found them rather amazing that they could hold so much knowledge within their depths. "Maybe I'll get one for myself one day..." she thought.

As Lord Tormentous approached her again, she looked up into his Yellow eye, the silver glow from her lightspear reflecting off of her Master's mask made him look more intimidating in the darkness of the office. However, she wasn't afraid of him really like most were. Maybe it was the fact she knew Jacobi remained, protecting her in the best way he could by holding back Tormentous rage upon her had she ever upset him.

Silvanius blue gaze glanced down at his hand. She knew he wanted her to relinquish her blade to him. Of course, put with the hard work into her new weapon, she didn't really want to give it up after JUST completing it. Listening to her master, she realized that now her destiny within the Sith was starting to be carved into stone. Into history would this young woman from Tibrin be forever more making herself known within the Sith. Sure she still had to earn everything in her position, but it was worth it. And Silvanius was incredibly patient. The young Sith had really no desire to have a empire bow at her. She just wanted to stay close to Jacobi. But Silvanius did enjoy the challenges that awaited as she learned the ways of the force from Tormentous.

Quietly she deactivated her blade and set it into her masters hand. She didn't feel a need to say anything. She trusted Tormentous critic on her handiwork.
